I've been debating what to do with my hair, it is very thin, fine, and curly, and grows slowly. I haven't had a cut in a year due to covid. Well, I did some trimming. So now it is to my jawline. The pandemic has not changed much for me, except I see my kids less. I've pretty much given up hope of meeting someone. I do miss the kidlets, they're so good for hugs and amusement. One of my kids delivers most of my groceries and I ended up not seeing her for two weeks due to her quarantine after a (false) positive covid test. My book club has been meeting via Zoom which has saved me some money... we used to meet for lunch on Sundays at a restaurant. By far, the quarantine is not the worst thing that has ever happened to me, it is just another doggone bump in the road.

I was on Zoosk when it first popped up, it actually started with FB. I met a guy through Zoosk who I hit off with really well. We had a long distance relationship and I went to his home and he came to mine. Then as I got to know him better I discovered he was a hot mess and after I wasted too much time with him he melted down and that ended. Essentially he was planning to move to Omaha, and his mom thought it was a great idea... and then she wasn't sure she was going to be around much longer. She jerked him around like a puppet on a string. That is why I will not do long distance ever again. Since then Zoosk separated from FB, and last time I looked at it I was not impressed. Since I live in a conservative xian republican bastion I'm not wasting time looking. IF there is a partner for me he has to meet me through one of the activities I participate in. I'm not sure that person exists.

I have given up on dating apps, since I am not willing to relocate I will have to meet someone locally. Well, that ended with the Pandemic. Post pandemic the only way I'm likely to meet someone is if they are a member of one of my meetup groups. my main one is a Humanist group. Where I live it overwhelmingly religious and conservative, my Humanist group is my safe harbor.
