This is Jimmy John Liautaud the founder and CEO of Jimmy John's Sandwiches. (That pig lives near me.) He and his sons like to kill animals for fun. Please, never eat there.
HippieChick58 replies on Apr 19, 2018:
@Paul628 I see their stores. One of my kids went to KU and she raved about the store near them, so when they came to Omaha we had to try it. Jimmy John's started by college campuses deliberately, lots of cheap labor and huge market for fast food. I have never noticed the drivers being irresponsible, but I get why they would. I remember the commericals from back when I had cable.
What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?

@LorrieS No, I never give money. I estimate that in 8 or so years of online dating I've been asked for over $40,000. I shoulda given up long ago. I've known women who have gone into debt sending money to men for various reasons. One unfriended me on FB. Her "love interest" friended me and gave me the same spiel. I told her and she dropped me like a hot potato. Some women will go to any cost to have a man, even one they haven't met in person. Sometimes I string them along to see where the story goes, I've asked for collateral and identification, amazing the shit they come up with.
This is true, for me at least.

There is stuff in my past that actually was abuse of the worst sort. It wasn't until I became a parent and my girls started reaching the age that I was when I was abused that I realized that it wasn't my fault, and it was actually abuse. It was very freeing and healing. I never left my kids alone with my dad and stepmother, partly because we didn't even see them annually, and there is no way I'd trust them around any small child. The only thing I mourned for when my father died is that we'd never be able to change things. But if he lived to eternity it would have never changed. When my step mother passed I didn't give a damn, she wasn't worth it.

When you start thinking about him, make yourself remember the crap he did. I had a long term relationship that broke my heart. 6 years later I still think of him from time to time. Why losing a dog can be harder than losing a relative or friend
HippieChick58 comments on Apr 8, 2018:
My critters are my fur children, I love them nearly as much as my the kids I gave birth to. Yes, losing a pet was like losing a child. I feel sorry for people who can't love animals.
HippieChick58 replies on Apr 8, 2018:
@jlynn37 I find a disconnect between believing in an invisible god and loving a flesh and blood creature who can and does show affection and provide companionship. Your attempt at equating the two is a logical fallacy. If I have offended you it was not intentional. If you think I was harsh then obviously you don't know me. And I would suggest that if you don't like what I have to say you block me so that you are not subjected to my opinions again.

@SACatWalker If it is sugar free and lactose free it is likely made of ingredients I'd rather not eat. I like to eat as close to natural as possible, no artificial ingredients. I don't eat ice cream too often, just way too much sugar. But I'm human and my desire for Rocky Road sometimes overcomes my good sense.

@jlynn37 Well, when I stopped laughing I'd tell them I feel sorry for their limited and stilted understanding of the world.
