Marriage, and the other side
VictoriaNotes comments on Mar 25, 2018:
I think my first marriage (of 7 years) would have succeeded (been lasting) had my partner not sustain a traumatic brain injury with a significant change in personality, and then suicide. Before he started to go downhill, we had a quality marriage of mutual respect, honesty, and open communication. ...

@ailurophile I had a Neato and I think I killed it. Now I have a Robovac. The Robovac has a great cell phone app, so easy to program. The neato I had to get down on its level and it was hard to read and program. I run it 3 or 4 times a week and it seems to deal with the cat hair and people hair quite well.

@Katastrophe1969 it isn't very much different than meditation except for concentrating on a mantra. Use a two syllable word or phrase, first syllable on the outward breath, the second on the inward. I used Jah Weh as a xian, and now it just aggravates me but it is the sound of the breath going in and out. And just try to keep it as slow and as smooth as possible and concentrate on the breath, try to let go of other thoughts. It takes practice, but it does help your heart rate and brain waves slow down to where you can drift off. I need a better mantra. @FrayedBear It sits at a charging station when not in use. It is scheduled to run several times a week, or I can start it from where ever I am with my cell phone. If it runs out of battery while working it will go to the charging station to recharge, and then return to where it left off. Sometimes it will pick up a cat toy and get stopped and run out of battery if I don't get home to fix it. Then I carry it to the recharging station, and after charging will restart unless I tell it not to. It's pretty darn smart. Never falls down the stairs either.

When my mom and dad were dating and getting married, my dad's youngest brother met my mom's youngest sister, and it was love at first sight. They said it was weeks before Keith could form a coherent sentence. They were married for over 60 years. Last time I saw Keith he had CRS very bad. (Can't remember shit, his words.) What he could remember and talked about frequently was how much he loved Vera, how she was his moon and stars, and he just wanted to love her. He couldn't understand how any man could hit a woman. As his dementia increased his granddaughter moved them into her house. He recognized Vera and had to be near her. His granddaughter he referred to as the girl in the kitchen. That is the epitome of love. He passed away a few weeks ago, still in love with Vera.

I saw a clip where a family home schooled and taught their kids only Bible literacy. This reporter was asking the oldest who looked about 12 simple math questions. She had no clue. I think that is child abuse. She is being trained only to be a domestic idiot.

Protein is misunderstood. we need much less than most think. Protein deficiency is called kwashiorkor. Most people have never heard of it. (very rare in developed countries) Even if you eat a low protein diet, the body actually gets better at re-using amino acids. Iam not a fruitarian, but if ...

I rarely have issues with gas. My guess is that is because I eat a higher fiber diet. Nothing stays inside long enough to ferment.
