@David1955 my dog loved adults and liked to lean against them. Kids he pretty much ignored unless they had food. I never let the dog offleash around other people, and he was only offleash in safe areas. But I know what you mean about dogs going after you because you are there. I was attacked by chihuahuas when I was growing up, just walking home from school. Why that woman let the dogs out when the kids were walking by escapes me, but i started kicking at them, damn nippy little freaks. To this day I loathe Chihuahuas.

@jorj Do you wrap your whopper every time you have sex with a woman? Do you take every step possible to prevent conception? If you are "hoping" that she won't get pregnant you're fooling yourself. Unless you are actively preventing pregnancy you are leaving yourself open to pregnancy happening. If you don't want a baby created without your full consent then get a vasectomy, which may be wise if alcohol frequently prevents you from using good judgement. Or as my daddy told my brothers, don't have sex with a woman you don't want to make a baby with.

I always dream in color..and remember them as well..anyone else?
Presley1209 comments on Feb 24, 2018:
I dream in color as well, I remember most of my dreams which are so bizarre at times it affects my mood when I wake up.
HippieChick58 replies on Feb 24, 2018:
That just triggered a memory. When I was pregnant with my youngest (she is now 26) I had a very vivid dream, in full color. In my dream she was already born and I was wrapped in blankets in our family room, I was nursing her and she pooped all over everything. Her father was in the doorway and I asked him to take her and change her, and he ran away laughing! I was so angry with him, and woke up immediately. Had he been in the bed with me I'd have slugged him, and I was angry with him for the rest of the day.
Does this look familiar?

Local game shops. New and used book stores. The various "lumberyards". Does anyone call them lumberyards anymore? And Amazon of course. I love how friendly the check out guy is there.
HippieChick58 replies on Feb 24, 2018:
In my neck of the woods there are still lumberyards. Some go by the term hardware stores. If I say Lumberyard to my son in law (he is in construction) he will say Menards.

HippieChick58 replies on Feb 21, 2018:
When my daughters were growing up we had both a cat and dog. The dog was the son I never gave birth to, a golden retriever. He was the BEST DOG EVER. He was cowed by my tiny 3 pound kitten. She'd groom him, that was a wicked hairball. I wanted to implant a recording device in the dog because my troubled child told him all her troubles. That would have saved me some time and energy, but I found out anyway. My oldest is trying to convince her new husband that they need a golden. He has two cats, and he's not sure on the dog thing, They have a baby coming in May. So girls do have the dogs, and guys do have cats. I love my kitty girls because they are OK with my crazy hours. When I retire I want to get a dog.
