Money is an agreed upon medium of exchange. It represents the amount of time I spend at work that I can exchange for stuff I think I need, food, shelter, movie tickets. Money is a tool, it has no characteristics of being good or bad. It can be used for good or bad, just like a hammer can.

She got in trouble for some other stuff and in the fallout of that was out of school for a semester, and grounded until she was able to go back to school. I made her stop smoking cold turkey. @Coffeo I love my cuckoo! I usually don't hear it unless it is running slow or fast. I used to have two cuckoo clocks and a Grandfather clock from the Black forest. The oldest has the GF Clock, though it needs work. The youngest has the other cuckoo, it needs work and her husband wanted to tinker with it. All my clocks came from Germany.

@Redcupcoffee I have to see the ex about every other month, the kids like to do family celebrations, and the youngest and the grandchild now live in his house. He frankly needs a keeper. And yes, I only allow people to get close to me who support me and as you said care and nurture. Which is why I've been celibate for some time now. I'd rather be single and celibate than putting up with someone to not be alone. I don't mind being alone, I'm good company ;) and then there's those two crazy critters I live with.
