I took a class a couple of years ago, Curvy Girls Yoga, taught us how to adapt the moves to our bodies. Yoga is about being a better you. @icolan I hear ya. Dogs are fabulous if you have a yard and the time for them. I don't have a dog because my yard is not fenced and I'm frequently out of the house for 12 hours or more. Not good for a dog. The cats are good with dry food, fresh water, and a sorta clean litter box. My cat allergies are under control. I am considering a small dog after I retire but that is still a few years off.

I disagree. I like to know exactly what words mean and I looked up Spiritual.- relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things. The spirit is the essence of us, it has nothing to do with religion or "holy spirit". It is who she is and she is honoring that. She can have both.

@FrayedBear I have found that when I take veggies and hummus to work with me, and low salt mixed nuts I do well. BUT I also have to avoid the grocery store when I'm tired/hungry. Yeah... had to stop at the grocery to reload on veggies and hummus after work tonight. Funny stuff found its way into my cart.

I keep small bags in my car to hand off to those with signs along the road. My bags have some disposable personal cleansing cloths, a mylar space blanket, clean sox, and $5. I read that clean sox are especially valued among the housing uncertain population.

January 13, 2021 My newest and smallest grandchild. She arrived 5 weeks early and is now 2.5 weeks old and is less than 7 pounds. I've never held such a small baby before. She is quite perfect and very amazing. I love being a Grammy.
