I was on Zoosk when it first popped up, it actually started with FB. I met a guy through Zoosk who I hit off with really well. We had a long distance relationship and I went to his home and he came to mine. Then as I got to know him better I discovered he was a hot mess and after I wasted too much time with him he melted down and that ended. Essentially he was planning to move to Omaha, and his mom thought it was a great idea... and then she wasn't sure she was going to be around much longer. She jerked him around like a puppet on a string. That is why I will not do long distance ever again. Since then Zoosk separated from FB, and last time I looked at it I was not impressed. Since I live in a conservative xian republican bastion I'm not wasting time looking. IF there is a partner for me he has to meet me through one of the activities I participate in. I'm not sure that person exists.

I don't think I've had any visitors to my home yet this year. Middle daughter hasn't brought groceries for two weeks after she had a positive covid test after Xmas. She has tested negative twice since then, so I will see her on Wednesday. And on Wednesday I get to be the visitor, I get to meet my newest granddaughter at her home. She was due at the end of January, and arrived on Boxing day quite unexpectedly. She is doing well, but very high maintenance at the moment.
