I also have a robotic vacuum, and it has a name. It is Roscoe. I thought about Rosie, the maid from the cartoon The Jetson's. But I wanted male, so it became Roscoe. No, Roscoe is not a pet, but the cats do play with it, or sabotage it if you will. They drop toys in front of it so it will suck them up and stop. Or the younger kitty will lie in Roscoe's path and he will bump her and reverse direction. And she will get up and do it again. Since I have been WFH Roscoe runs earlier in the day, and generally the kitties are sleeping or keeping me company, so there haven't been as many disruptions to the routine. I put a block in the doorway to the room I'm working in so Roscoe can't come in but the kitties can still get out. I only let Roscoe in that room on the weekends. I spend too much time on phone calls to have Roscoe running that close to me.

I ended up about 150 miles from that little town about 15 years ago, and then FB got started 13 years ago. I have connected with some HS friends through FB, but most of them think much like I do. I have few "life long" friends as my home life was not great and then I moved right after HS, and kept moving. I haven't lost any true "friends" because of Trump, but I know some connections from FB have been lost due to my strong opposition to the orange one. You can't knock sense into anyone unless they are ready to make changes. One of the smartest people I've known is actually my ex.
