I was born in 1963 in what is now Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, in 1963. After travelling around the world quite a bit during my preschool years, my family moved back to my mother’s hometown, Tracadie-Sheila in 1972. I was already speaking English by then, and was able to add French to my toolbox over the years. After working about 15 years on and off in media, I switched to translation in 2001. A few years later, in 2006, I became an interpreter, a profession I still practice today. Over the years, I have also volunteered for a local access radio station, as well as done theatre and singing for various local clubs.
