I am a healthy and active 69 year old Secular Humanist. I am looking a female companion of comparable health and someone who finds a commonality in the following areas:

My partner would have be tolerant of other people's beliefs; as long as they are tolerant of ours. We may not share a theist's belief, but they have a Constitutional Right to theirs. I do not pick and choose what Rights I support; I may not agree with them, but as long as they are not infringing on someone else's Rights, more power to them.

Full Bio

I am a patriot; I spent 30 years defending the US and have a very deep sense of loyalty to my country and the ideas it was founded on. I am extremely liberal, and a registered Democrat. My future partner would also be a Liberal, politically active and not afraid to make her voice heard. While certainly not a requirement, a veteran, who enjoys sharing "war stories", would be a plus.

I love the out-of-doors; I'm geared with everything needed to spend the weekend camped by a lake or mountain stream; while I do enjoy this life style, I also like my comfort, I have a popup camper, a generator and all the creature comforters to make that weekend enjoyable. I would love to see the New England states in the fall, take a raft tour and visit more of our national parks. I am just as comfortable spending the evening at the symphony, taking in a show at a good wine & jazz or an evening of pizza and goofy golf with the grandkids.

I enjoy good music. If you browse my music library you will find it heavily toward instrumental smooth jazz and classical. On the smooth jazz side you hear the like of 3rd Force, Joyce Cooling, Down To The Bone and Peter White, and while I'm not much for vocalists, there are some that I like...Sade, Randy Crawford and Stevie Nicks come to mind. On the classical side, I enjoy many of the great masters, with Vivaldi, Mozart and Handel being three of my favorites. To round it out my collection I have Fleetwood Mac, The Moody Blues, Cantoma, Hang Massive, The Piano Guys and many more. I'm really not into country music...the only C&W I can appreciate is if you go back to the era of Hank Williams Sr. and Patsy Cline. I have no appreciation for rap.

Ideal First Date #1: Good conversation at a nice "Wine and Jazz" with the sounds of Kenny G or Althea Rene playing in the background. Or it could be a classical lounge over melodies from the Baroque period. Or like I side before, I think pizza and goofy golf would be a blast.

Turn offs: Excessive tattoos and piercings
