I imagine my story is similar to most of the people on this site. I was born into a catholic family and for the 1st few years of my life I never questioned what I was taught, but when I was 9 yo my beloved dog was hit by a car and killed. I went to the Nun for condolence and she told me (a grieving young boy) dogs don’t go to heaven. I knew at that point we had a problem lol. If my Hilda can’t go I’m not going.

This was the beginning of my search for knowledge and understanding. I didn’t change over night but by the time I was a teenager I was basically an atheist.
And so on and so fourth I find myself here on this site for what I believe to be the same reason most of us are. To seek like minded individuals.
