Hi All. My name is Jeff and I'm a librarian in Atlanta, GA who is 46 y/o, 5' 9", slim, white, with brown (with a touch of white) hair and blue eyes.

Me: I write poetry, listen to alternative rock, alt. folk and alt. country, and have the most amazing friends. I like simple things. Going to the movies, an evening at dinner, going out for a fun evening out, hiking, camping (with showers and cabins), fun conversation, an evening at home, and enjoy getting out of town occasionally. Love the beach, a day or weekend in the mountains, and long car rides. I'm mainly a lover who also loves cats.

Specifically (since my above description is rather broad), I'm a big fan of Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Morrissey & The Smiths, Tori Amos, Nirvana and hundreds of mostly unknown artists. I write and enjoy reading darker verse that explores life from unique perspectives. I've had several poems published in publications and zines and am hoping to one day self publish my collection of poems called "Littered Emotional Landscape". For movies, I enjoy horror, action adventure, science fiction, thrillers, drama, and an occasional independent or foreign film is fun. I tend to get along best with fellow atheists (agnostics, freethinkers, humanists, etc.) and pagans. I identify as New Atheist, but am not elitist in any way. I'm a big fan of evidence, the scientific method, and rational thinking. Prefer honesty to lies (always), regardless of situation and will not lie to others. I am faithful and loyal to friends, family, and offer the same to the man I'm meant to stand beside. I find a unique mind very attractive. I left one night stands behind me many years ago. Looking for potential LTR. If we meet and I feel a spark or you tell me something truly bizarre about you that I find interesting, then you have my attention. I won't rush into anything quickly, but will have a very good idea if we might be a match in a short period of time-. Please be honest and I'll give you nothing less.

The man I'm looking for: Kind, gentle and mellow natured, white, 32 - 47ish, slim or average, good-hearted, intelligent, unique, non-conformist. And a good sense of humor goes a long way!

I dislike listing dislikes, but doing so may help you understand me better than only listing my preferences. Not a fan of supernatural beliefs or belief in the paranormal. I find both fascinating, but real beliefs in the improbable demonstrates a lack of reasoning skills. I enjoy investigations into the unknown more than most but, at the end of the day, there is no god in the sky and no ghosts haunting houses and possessing people. Highly dislike people with tendencies towards violence, the easily angered, the impatient, the unkind, and am leery of folks who don't find puppies and kittens adorable (lol).

Whether it turns out you are my soulmate, we become wonderful friends or if nothing sparks, I find being new people interesting. I am outgoing and not easily made nervous. If we seem to have a few things in common, let's see what happens. Unless you're evil, I'm sure we'll get along fine when we meet, whether we rush to the phone the next day to set up plans or quickly realize it isn't a match, I'll be respectful and kind. Anything different wouldn't be me. ?
