I just can't be a vegan or a vegetarian. I've got enough in my life to deal with, such as pain, depression, and PTSD. Yes it would be better if animals were raised on small farms.
Jolanta replies on Jun 13, 2020:
You don't have to become vegan, how about you just don't eat meat every day and you get that meat from organic places.
The longest journey you will make in your life is from your head to your heart.

@azzow2 I remember when my son was 13, he had done something which I don't remember now what it was. Which he had been spoken about time and time again. I confiscated his game boy. He was not happy, said why don't you just give me a trashing instead and let me have my game boy. I know what you are saying and I do agree with you mostly, however there are those who one can talk to or teach by example and there are those one cannot. Sometimes a smack on the bottom works wonders more than 1000s of words.

I don't know about this. This is history which should be thought in history lessons not special lessons or shall there be special lessons about other atrocities?
Jolanta replies on Jun 10, 2020:
@Bobbyzen Well so the problem is not only not learning about the holocaust but not learning about all the other atrocities and the rest of history.

@Theresa_N Surely when one is at work doing ones job you are covered by your place of work not special personal liability? Of course it is different if you bring a gun to work and start shooting people or in any other way harming them, but then your place of work is not responsible for what you have done unless they have instructed you to do so. It doesn't seem right what the Guardian is saying about the reason for them resigning.

And just how are they doing this? It would rally be great to have a euthanasia program here and, in Switzerland outsiders can come and take advantage of this. In the Netherlands one has to be a citizen. State sanctioned euthanasia might seem like 'bumping off' to some.

@JackPedigo Maybe it was not a conscious decision but it was a decision that they did not do much thinking thru.

@JackPedigo Well, I don't know but I am brought up in Sweden and suspects that I may be right. Just imagine if let us say half 2200 old people die, how much money do the state save on pensions, medical needs and keeping people in care homes. Millions, upon millions.

Jolanta comments on Jun 2, 2020:
When we are angry we all want some vengeance but when we take it into our own hands it is often counter productive. We want a change for the better for all, a change that will last, not something that will keep the hate and bigotry going.

Google it. Sweden doesn't not have any lock down. They expect their citizens to be doing the right thing. More than 4000 people have died in a very small population and more than half of those people are in care homes.
