They want to hear that the departed no longer is in pain, they want to hear how sad it is that the departed is no longer with them, they want to hear how great the person was, no matter if that is true or not, they want to hear how much the person is going to be missed, they want to be reassured that they (the living) will be all right without the departed. Or they do not want to grieve at all because they did not like or could not stand the departed and now are glad that he/she is gone and are curious who els thinks the same without giving themselves away.

I don't agree with this, they do not approve of even one dollar to educate people about what was done to the Native Indians in their own country so should not approve this.
Jolanta replies on Jan 30, 2020:
@dan325 Yes you are right that education stinks in the US, however no way in hell is this a 'start' to any kind of correction, just money to remember the holocaust and nothing else. That is what I am objecting.

Sounds bad. The British chose Australia to send its convicts instead of to Switzerland. I suspect they had a reason. Sometimes I see some Australians on TV like Crocodile Dundee who cannot tan any more. I heard the more interiors you go, the hotter it gets?

Yes, that is true. It is a desert in the interior.

@dan325 But it doesn't. Just think about it, have anyone even suggested to give money to educate people about Native Indians, as far as I am aware Betsy is cutting eduction in the US all the time.

Not far, we have smoke haze every day. We have had very little rain. The rain is mainly in the north of Australia, in the tropics.
