Jolanta replies on Oct 29, 2018:
@Renickulous Well you need to look into it. Police can go into any house/business or search a car and confiscate, money and goods if they suspect that the money etc, etc are from crime. They don't have to prove that it is from crime and it is up to you to prove otherwise, and that is hard to do. People who are on their way to buy a new car for instance that get pulled over, the police confiscate the money etc, etc. Here you have it, be careful with your savings; civil seizure, is a legal process in which law enforcement officers take assets from persons suspected of involvement with crime or illegal activity without necessarily charging the owners with wrongdoing.

@SpikeTalon I am not interested in starting trouble, I guess it is easy to start calling people names when one doesn't agree with something. Yes middle ground in not always possible, however I get exasperated with people who refuse to see another way, especially as in parts of the world that way is working just fine. Likeminded people get together and try to make a change. I'm a bit old to worry about looking cool but there is something just so satisfying about letting foul words rip LOL
Jolanta replies on Oct 12, 2018:
Maybe you need to expand your vocabulary. But yes I know what you mean. I object to it when every second word is a four letter word.
Using four letter words doesn't make you look cool. You just look like someone with an ugly mouth.

@bigpawbullets Hi, I actually come from one of those Social Democratic countries. Yes people or some people are not happy with the "influx" of immigrants. They are afraid of all the propaganda against "Others", however a larger proportion of the population don't feel that way and the Social Democratic way still works fine. Unfortunately they did get far too many people in a very short time and that is hard to assimilate. The problem is also that it is hard for immigrants to get jobs, not because they don't want to work but because the negative media input. Talking about "slackers" is just adding to the problem both for the immigrants and the local population who start believing it is true, so the wheel goes around and nothing gets solved. That doesn't meant that there are not "slackers" there. I am sure that you personally know people who are "slackers".

I wondered what President Clinton's trade repercussions would be. I knew it would hurt American workers, but I didn't see China becoming a world power. If Hillary would have won she would have given what's left of America away.
Jolanta replies on Oct 9, 2018:
There is nothing to do about what has been done by previous presidents whether they were Republicans or Democrats. Both parties love free trade agreements because they can make a lot of money for themselves and do not care about the population. You need to understand that most rich people don't care about you. They talk like they do but talk is cheap. I can tell you that China is already a world power, they own a large chunk of the US and also the rest of the world. The US have borrowed billions from China and if they wanted it back you guys would be in deeper shit than you are now.
