Hello! I am a man who grew up in a Christian family in northwest Ohio and I have identified as a humanist atheist since 2013.
I like math, science, and philosophy because of how they explore the "big picture" of how things work and what is most broadly true. I prefer to be a generalist instead of a specialist.
I've most recently begun exploring symbolism after realizing that I may have been mistaken in dismissing it in the past. Stories are surprisingly useful.
