I grew up in, and still live, work and play in the western burbs of Chicago. Played sports growing up, and am a big science buff now.

I've gone to junior college on and off ever since my youth, but never actually got a degree. I've been at my employer since I was 21 doing various jobs, and now since I've been there so long that I can do it all, my title went from Quality Coordinator to "Operations Tech". My point is, in spite of not having that degree, I interact with all types of professionals on a daily basis - Engineers, Metallurgists, Marketing Managers, Sales Managers, and all types on the customer side as well. So I don't necessarily feel the "need" for that education, but yeah, it's always been an insecurity of mine.
