They do not for instance encourage their young into flag worship, or make them swear allegiance to the state and leader on a daily basis, or sanitise and rewrite their own history in their own favour, and encourage the ideal that the last resort should always be the first response, or that one ethnicity is superior to another. LenHazell53 replies on Mar 17, 2022:
@Petter Because RT is only one of 24 state owned and or run and or funded Russian TV stations and unlike most of them RT is part public owned. This unlike almost all others who are either owned by various Russian government ministries, consortiums of Russian state banks and the commonwealth of independent states ( a hold over from the old Soviet days) TV-Novosti who own RT on the other hand are an autonomous non-profit organization funded by the Russian state-owned news agency RIA in April 2005 but under a board of non governmental directors in the same way as the BBC is funded by the government Licence fee collected as a tax from the UK public but run by a board of independent directors worldwide . The vast majority of resignations of journalist have been from VGTRK (government owned), Moscow Media (owned by Moscow city), Podmoskovie Mediagroup (state owned operated by the Russian equivalent of the Home Office) Telekanal Zvezda owned by the Russion Ministry of Defence, Public Television of Russia owned by Russian government, Gazprom Media owned by the state owned Gazprom bank, Mir owned by the CIS, and Channel One Russia owned by the Russian Government. RT have had few resignations but have lost many staff members to redundancies owning to sanctions and western countries ceasing their ability to publicly broadcast. Yes RT is very biased and Pro homeland, but the same could be said of BBC America, BBC worldwide and even BBC Wales and BBC Scotland

@Ray13 Lon Chaney Jnr did not have a high opinion of his own talent (very unjustly) feeling he was riding his father's fame. By the time Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein came out, Glen Strange was making most of his living doing appearances as the Frankenstein Monster and Bela Lugosi was a hopeless drug addict glad of any work he could get. Chaney was however trying to make a name for himself as a serious actor, but could not break away from the Wolfman as a meal ticket and his only source of income for the support of his invalid mother, and so was rightly worried. The film however contains Chaney's best remembered line ever Chick Young (Abbot): What's the matter? Larry Talbot (Chaney): I know you'll think I'm crazy, but... in a half-an-hour, the moon will rise, and I'll turn into a wolf. Wilbur Grey (Costello): You and 20 million other guys! He need not of worried he worked consistently until his death in 1973, was always a box office draw and is remembered for both his horror and dramatic work, Especially "Of Mice and Men"

@Ray13 Yes apparently Bud gained a reputation as the best straight man in Hollywood and several times other comics tried to lure him away, but he always stayed loyal. Laurel and Hardy had on the whole a good relationship, but did fall out once or twice after Ollie made a couple of films without Stan, one with Harry Langdon and the other with of all people John Wayne. They did however stay friends right up until Ollie's death in 1957 and Oliver was god father to Stan's daughter Lois. Apparently once on set 4 year old Lois in tears asked Uncle Ollie why he was so nasty to her Daddy in the films, prompting a heartbroken Ollie to ask Stan to do a last minute rewrite so his beloved god-daughter would not hate him. This resulted in the classic scene of Stan chasing Ollie with and axe and chopping down a barn with Ollie still inside (one good Turn 1931) and the classic line Ollie: You...You! Stan: Don't you call me a you, you..you..you,you...YOU! Jerry Lewis was a very odd man, his hatred for his former partner Dean martin is best summed up by watching "The Nutty Professor" and seeing Lewis' nasty parody of Martin in the "Mister Hyde" character of Buddy Love. An act of viciousness Dean Martin never really forgave.

@KKGator Yes according to their biography, Lou grew to hate Budd and resented that he could only get well paying work if the partnership was retained. Budd was very easy going and allowed Bud a lot of leeway as he knew he was not a well man. Bud had suffered "fits" all their working life and sometimes Budd had to physically restrain him from attacking the audience when Lou was in the throes of a rage attack, often to howls of laughter from said audience who thought it was all part of their knockabout act. Lou over the 1940s had their agent reduce Budd's share for 50-50 to 60-40, 75-25 and eventually 80-20 at which point Budd "retired" from the partnership but continued working until 1967 as a straight actor alone. I recall seeing him interviewed on British TV in the early 70's shortly before his death in 1974 and being touched at him loving tributes to his former partner, who he still was deeply grateful to.

LenHazell53 replies on Mar 6, 2022:
@Ray13 Yes that is right, it happened in 1943 Lou blamed his wife for the child's death and when Bud defended her, Lou split up the partnership, though they did reconcile a few years later to do the Universal monster movie spoofs and cross overs with other franchises, by the early fifties Lou was working mostly alone, doing stand up and guest appearances on TV shows. it was a sad time for film comedy, but did give us the TV Abbot and Costello show. They did make one great film together during this period "Time of their lives" but Lou insisted they be billed separately and shared no scenes as Lou was promised this would be his first solo starring role with his own love interest. This separation was done by Lou playing a ghost and Bud as his decedent (On later re-releases the Abbot and Costello billing was restored, but the Tagg line "Bud and Lou do something new" was kept) It is by many thought to be their best film.

Go far enough back in to Judeo-Christian mythology and get past all of the priesthood censorship and you will find the God of the bible was once married to the Nature Goddess Asherah (after whom the Matel figure and cartoon character She'ra is named.)
LenHazell53 replies on Mar 5, 2022:
@Gwendolyn2018 Okay both He-man and She-Ra were created by the Mattel corporation NOT Larry De Tillo, he was only the chief writer on series one of the 1980s He-Man animation and wrote 4 episodes of She Ra, Mattel is a Hebrew name meaning "she is powerful", hence She-ra's title, princess of power Mattel was founded in 1945 by Jewish refugees the Original Mattel for whom the company was named was the grandmother of current CEO Ynon Kreiz . She Ra (both versions) wear the symbol of Ashera on their top, the blooming tree, aka the Ashera pole Asherah, whom the Book of Kings suggests was worshipped alongside Yahweh in his temple in Israel, as his wife and her chief priest was King David's minister of music Heman (he-man) the grandson of Samuel the prophet in both the Bible and the Torah. Adora She-ra's real name in Hebrew: אֲדוֹרָה, is pronounced Adorah is an ancient Israeli city northwest of Hebron and was a centre of Ashera worship. Many other names in the series She-ra and He-man are Hebrew puns and homages to Jewish mythology. Orco means a violet lilly, Orco the wizard is basically an upturned flying violet flower head Te ela means servant of the tree, Ashera being a nature goddess whose symbol is a tree. He-man's real name Adam is obvious, the first man. I was probably not the first to see this and I know I was not the last it is all over the internet. Ra or Amun Ra was a male god, and a masculine word in Ancient Egypt, the female equivalent sun godess was Amunet Wosret Mut

@skado Religion, from Latin ligatura to bind fast (as in ligature) and re- =again therefore, to rebind to a new deity. @skado that would be terrific, but it would mean they were no longer ministries, just community youth groups. Church ministries are by definition religious, and as has been pointed out many times there is no definition of religion that cannot also be applied to superstition and vice versa.

@FrayedBear @Petter The story has been widely reported, especially by Al-Jazeera, but actually originated from a propaganda tweet put out by the Azov Battalion themselves. RT were actually a little late to the party, putting out this story. Twitter has not removed the story because though provocative, it has been found to be largely true. For information The Azov Battalion are real but are not officially part of the Ukrainian military Formed by Andryi Biletsky a white nationalist were on 13 April 2014 authorized by Arsen Avakov Minister of Internal Affairs as a paramilitary forces allowed to hold an armed membership of up to 12,000 soldiers (most were soviet Veterans) To be known as The Azov Battalion, they were shortly thereafter declared a unit of the Special Tasks Patrol Police, under the direct control of the Interior Ministry. Though they are still technically a volunteer organization of Ukrainian, they are known ultra nationalists' para militarists operatives, who while claiming NOT to be fascists are extremely right wing, despise Jews, are holocaust deniers and claim Putin is a covert Israeli puppet ruler. They are armed to the teeth and spread the same story of pig fat smeared bullets being used by their veteran members fighting on the Russian side during the Second Chechen War. There is NO moral high ground in this story. They are not good people, but war as always makes strange bedfellows, recall Churchill's remark after he and Roosevelt were criticized for making a triple alliance with Stalin and the Soviets "If Hitler invaded Hell, I would make at least a favourable reference of the Devil in the House of Commons."

Hate crimes are a concession to those who want to be doubly appalled, but also want the right to an exception so they can also be appauled at their own victims when they say the same words but claim they cannot be hateful because they come from an all loving god, who cannot stand "SIN!!!!"
