@think-beyond Reality cannot be based on delusions, because a delusion is the denial of reality. Personal perceived experience of a delusion is not evidence of its validity, it cannot be tested or verified and is therefore simply indicative of what it is, a delusion. What is right, is evidentially provable as right, (assuming you are using right to mean real) you are entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts. I respect only that which has earned my respect, you are using respect as a synonym for tolerate, I tolerate only when I have no interest in correcting things that are harmless. Religious/theist propaganda is not harmless, history proves that, it leads to war, persecution, torture and oppression, therefore I will neither tolerate nor respect it, but will call it out for delusion it is.

I however have never claimed atheists to be superior to theists, simply that they are more correct in their assessment of theism.

The LDS does not have 16 million members, as they claim, because many of those are inactive, non practicing and are in many cases dead. (Being dead does not stop the Mormons from baptising you, Adolf Hitler for instance appears on the membership rolls three times) Extrapolating from tithing figures in countries where the LDS ***are*** required to file tax returns to maintain charitable status and tax exception (unlike the US where they ***are not***) the LDS at a generous estimate have approximately 5 million active tithe paying members as of 2015. However after revelation of the LDS church secret holding of approximately $100Billion dollars in tax haven banks all over the world and another $15 billion in stock market investments under various holding companies, their interests in the Bonneville media empire which they own outright and other business empires in south America, Scandinavia, the UK, and the Cayman Islands, the church no longer has to worry too much about members and tithing, so long as they still have enough to claim to be a church and continue to avoid taxes.

AnonySchmoose comments on Mar 25, 2021:
Ultroneously, someone made up a new word, which seems to mean the same as spontaneously, willingly, and voluntarily. I ask myself why a new word is needed, other than that it just sounds impressive.
LenHazell53 replies on Mar 25, 2021:
Ultroneous means beyond expectations Spontaneous means as expected Both Voluntarily and Ultroneously come from the confusion of Latin *voluntarius* of ones own free will and for no expected reward and *ultrarius* beyond the need for reward (Which is also the root of Ulterior, meaning having a covert motivation) The confusion coming from the the Latin U being written as V and pronounce w and the letter U being written as VV but pronounced wu, but when translated in to CHURCH Latin and from whence in to English V being pronounced u and vv pronounced v while the wu sound became the appropriately named double u even though it should technically be called a double v. Thus to avoid negative connotations Ultroneous has morphed and merged in to both voluntary and altruistic (Via French) and dropped out of use, while spontaneous has come to mean both spontaneous and Ultroneous. My apologies philology is fascinating to me, but is probably very boring to others

The so called Mormon Leaks corruption revelations about the mall and the recent revelation of money being syphoned in to the $100 billion secret account being held in trust for Jesus to be claimed upon his return, being used as collateral to keep the monstrosity afloat.

They do not really mean the same thing, for example, if asked an opinion on battery hens and a politician answers *"I do not like chickens, their very name connotes cowardice and we all know what we think of cowards who don't do their duty."* This is equivocation, confusing two meanings of the same word to make an invalid point that there is something inherently wrong with chickens, so mistreating them is excusable. However answering *"I do not like chickens, except when served with gravy and potatoes"* is a tergiversation, completely avoiding the question, by confusing a self contradictory statement , indicating chicken is for consumption as food but still subtly indicating that food production, be it eggs or poultry is all they are good for.

When I brought this up with him, he laughed and said "You know how it is with women, sometimes you just have to cut through the nonsense." We left his practice, and I few months later I heard that he had so few patients the other partners had to buy him out. From experience it was probably more likely due to him being Pakistani, rather than Muslim, it was definitely due to a lack of professionalism and an inability to leave his innate bigotry at home. Mother's day is the second Sunday in Lent and has been for hundreds of years, in most Christian countries this has long been the case, with the sole exception of the USA where is was supplanted in 1908, by Anna Jarvis by a secular alternative celebrated on the second Sunday in May. Which far from being actually secular was the Pagan festival of Lemuria, a time for the exorcising of evil spirits and the reckless dead. This was done by eating copious amounts of beans and then farting all over the house and is where we get the expression a Bean Feast.

No I am saying a slapstick Maurice Chevalier parody stupid skunk, in a kids cartoon from over half a century ago being seriously treated as something that encourages rape and that is going to turn children in to sexual predators is utterly farcical and deserves to be treated as such. Pepe le Pew was a flirty character who normally ended up with a lump on his head, who never "forced himself" on anyone. It was slapstick cartoon comedy. Bugs Bunny didn't teach kids it was okay to steal carrots, daffy duck wasn't there to encourage kids to play with bombs, pepe Le Pew was not an incitement to predatory behaviour. Only an idiot, or a sensationalist publicity hound would think so. WB also had a female character that was a giant fat yellow rabbit called Millicent, with a Russian accent that chased male characters with a cry of "Give to me large kisses", was that the end of the world too?

LenHazell53 replies on Mar 9, 2021:
@LiterateHiker You know nothing about me, but obviously have a very low opinion of men in general. Well I have two daughters who I have brought up to NEVER be a victim of anyone, who loved cartoons when growing up, get on well with men, an havfe a sense of humour. Your problems are your problems, stop being a victim if you don't want people to tell you look like one, if a man hassles you tell him to piss off, if that does not work kick him in the nuts, same goes for if a woman hassles you, one of my daughters looks very masculine and is hit on because of her sartorial choices by gay women often, some are just as bad as men. People are on the whole fine, but there will always be bastards of every sex and gender, and there are laws to protect people from them. Going about hating on cartoons is not going to help society, it is going to make you look like an idiot, or will you try ringing the police because you sensibilities were hurt by a 75 year old cartoon skunk.

oh for god sake grow up, it was a cartoon from a different time about a stupid French skunk, a parody of Maurice Chevalier who could not tell the difference between a female skunk and a cat with a white stripe down its back and thought corny lines from romance movies where the height of charm. Pepe never asked for more than a kiss, it was a KIDS cartoon. You might as well say Yogi bear was about teaching kids to be picnic thieves, or that Scooby doo was about training teenagers to be junior detectives. It was slapstick comedy, no one grew up hitting people on the head with oversized mallets because they saw Tom and Jerry do it and no one grew up to be a rapist because of Pepe Le Pew and his over inflated sense of narcissism. By the way if you ever watched any Pepe Le Pew cartoons you would know the stupid skunk usually suffered a LOT for his amorous advances

Don't you believe it, the BBC cancelled a whole load of classic films a few years back, including one that is widely acknowledged as one of the top ten greatest comedy films of all time Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949). This was done for the single use of the children's nursery rhyme "Eeny, meeny, miny moe" which contains a contemporary use of the N word, which could have been bleeped. This is even after the nationality of the lead character was changed from the source material from being half Jewish to half Italian to be sensitive to the Nazi atrocities. This is creeping censorship is for the purposes of revisionist history by the soon to come "the Ministry of Truth". Many years ago the works of Enid Blyton where censored to remove all mentions of Gollywogs living in toy town, by changing them to goblin dolls. This was a possibly understandable measured response, but today ALL Enid Blyton works would have been canceled outright and probably will be given time for all sorts of other reasons because the books are contemporary to their time of authorship. Once this is established as a precedent, we can say good by to Dickens (Anti Semite, sexist, racist, class conscious prejudice and lack of diversity) Shakespeare (Anti Semite, sexist, racist, class conscious prejudice and lack of diversity) Charles Kingsley (Anti Semite, sexist, racist, class conscious prejudice and lack of diversity) and D. H. Lawrence will be back on the banned books list before you can say Lady Chatterley. This is not about sensitivity, it is about revisionist history and attempt to not only improve the society of today, but to spread the lie that the western world was ALWAYS subject to the social sensibilities of today and only a minority of nasty deviants were ever Anti Semite, sexist, racist, swine who never had statues erected to them.
Yes it is a joke, and a video, but the punch line at the very end is very quotable.
