In any given social system of culture there are contextually "good" and "bad" people and within such the quote makes sense. Your criticism can only be true within a conceptual state of perfect objectivity, such as that used by idealist philosophers for the construction of abstract concepts.

LenHazell53 replies on Aug 12, 2020:
@Cutiebeauty Yes that is my point, this Victorian idea of the manly man is a total myth and attacking it by feminising is utter bollocks. I am secure enough in my sexuality to ignore idiots who think calling me a Poof or such like is an insult, since more than half of my heroes and role models from history were homosexual or women or both. I grew up with a Father to whom the idea of my becoming an actor or writer or musician was a sure sign that I was a "filthy gayboy" yet who when I asked him what I should be suggested that I be a wrestler or a boxer or a footballer, and was shocked when I pointed out that he wanted me to spend time grabbing on to near naked men, or running about with men in shorts who I would then bathe naked with, to prove I was a "real" man. I saw through this projection and hypocrisy very quickly, and soon realised those who insist on finding feminine traits in other men or masculine traits in women ARE LOOKING FOR THEM. Personally I accept people for who they are if they are honest and so long as they are not hurtful or abusive to others, they are free to be who they want to be without comment or judgement from me or anyone else. Use of belittling words like **Snivelling** are not attacks on my masculinity, they are attacks on my maturity, there is nothing gender specific about them, certainly nothing sexist. They are the mocking of age related inappropriate reactions and a lack of self reliance.
At the risk of stirring up a hornet's nest, I'd like to discuss sexism.

@Cutiebeauty no as an attack or criticism of my behaviour, whether it was justified or no is another matter. Are you seriously contending that people do not act childishly at times? That aside how could anything be an attack on my "manhood"? What does that even mean?

LenHazell53 replies on Aug 12, 2020:
@Cutiebeauty Personally I think Sniveling is gender neutral since it refers to brattish spoiled child like behaviour, faking crying out of temper, whining and demanding your own way. The Literary epitomes of a Sniveling brat are "Veruca Salt" and "Draco Malfoy", the unholy offspring of those two would almost certainly be comparable to Lindsey Graham. Kamala Harris is a lawyer, abrasivity is a job requirement.

LenHazell53 comments on Aug 12, 2020:
None are sexist because they simply refer to personality traits except for the Biden statement which MIGHT be considered ageist depending on the context in which it was used, none the less it is a statement of fact regarding his age. The other comments are all opinions.

There has been a medical "holy grail" of a therapeutic vaccine since the 1960s, but it has never come to reality yet. Antigen vaccines. Dendritic cell vaccines. Tumor cell vaccines. Have been developed to treat and prevent the growth of active cancers but they are completely different to antiviral vaccines.

THis happened in 1992 too, when Disney tried to copyright the Name Aladin to differentiate it from the public domain story Alahdin/Alladdin/Aladin/Haladin/ or as it was originally a pun on *A La di* and the magic Lamp. When it is known that the original tale was a very racist anti-chinese story written by a Christian missionary priest named named Dionysios Shawish, alias Dom Denis Chavis in India in 1703 the name is revealed as a Chinese dirty joke meaning "Just had his first pull" combine that with rubbing a lamp and something amazing coming out and you get the picture. Disney sued UK pantomimes, other productions and films or TV versions of the story and basically made utter fools of themselves. It was eventually gotten around by Disney trademarking their own spelling of "Aladdin" which worked for a while until Webster's dictionary accepted the disney spelling as the correct one, thus rendering the word public domain again.

@Green_Chile_Type Four cities were the potential target, Tokyo was removed as it had already been firebombed and Truman wanted an undamaged city, to demonstrate his destructive power, Kyoto was personally forbidden by Truman as he and his wife had visited the city on their honeymoon and Mrs Truman objected, Kokura was then the chosen target but Truman was persuaded to send a last minute order to change to the port of Nagasaki under (false) the impression that the port was being used as an arsenal, which was ironic as Kokura did have an enormous weapons cache inside of the city. As for peace overtures, the first was made in 1943 by the Japanese once it became clear that the USSR would attack Japan after the defeat of the Germans. Hirohito incorrectly thought his people would face far less retribution from the Allies than he would from the soviets, having already been informed by the German ambassador to Japan that with the entry of the Russians in to the war on the allied side Hitler was finished, as his insistence on fighting a war on two fronts was utter folly. BY 1945 Japan was begging for peace, had already signed away their empire and offered unconditional surrender, but Truman wanted a show of strength, that would have the whole world terrified of the USA, and so ignored the Japanese until after August 9th bombing.

@Julie808 I left Mormonism many years ago, and have in the years since helped many people leave and or cope with the consequences of leaving. It is a truly evil cult and Mormon women are brainwashed from birth to seek only to snare and hold on to a man, because their eternal happiness depends on it, which is why in fringe mormon denominations and even in the mainstream church women are willing to accept polygamy so readily and accept the idea that in the hereafter they will have sister wives as a blessing. This is because a woman cannot enter the kingdom without a man, but a man cannot enter the kingdom without multiple wives. Actual polygamy has been outlawed in the LDS church since 1895, but widowed men are expected to remarry immediately to save another sweet sister. Female Mormons outnumber male mormons almost 4 to 1
