When I say education I mean exactly that, you first teach children to think critically, you teach the scientific method, you teach historical facts, teach inductive reason and logic and then you teach them to apply it to the politics religion etc of there own time and of times past.
With that grounding, people will look at the crusades and ask, were they mad?
They will look at the inquisition and find it abominable that people were willing to torture in the name of god and equally that people were willing to die for their gods. and will finally conclude they were all victims of money hungry priests, rabbis and imams.
Fundamentally religion is an insult to reason all that is needed is provide the tools and foundations and let human nature take its course.

@cmadler You're probably right there, the irony being that Matherson wrote the script for "Last man on Earth" and was so unhappy with how it was butchered he had his name taken off it because he thought it a bad adaptation.
As far as I know he had no further involvement with any other version, other than to take the royalties :) .

Yes I am Legend was the original novel by Richard Matheson, filmed first in 1963 as The last man on earth/future man starring Vincent Price and again in 1971 as the Omega man, though in this version the vampires are replaced with genetic mutant albinos, finally filmed under it's original title in 2007 Will Smith's version is the least faithful to the novel retaining only the name of the protagonist,and thus makes a nonsense of the title, I am Omega was released as a mock buster, of the 71 and 2007 titles, but actually has more in common with Night of the Living Dead.
Romero admitted that since the novel has two types of vampires, the staggering snuffling undead and the intelligent humanoid vampire civilization, Night of the living dead was actually another remake, but only using the first kind of monster, by renaming them Zombies he got around having to pay royalties and popularized zombies as a viable movie monster, doubly adding a third mockbuster credit for Diary of the dead, Romero's sequel that also came out in 2007.

Today the scenario would play out with the offender saying something like "don't mind if we push in do you?" while shoving the child in front of the smallest person at the head or near the head of the queue, who is usually too shocked to anything other than " what, no" which be taken with a nod of thanks and firmly pushing in of the adult too.
Should they actually have enough about them to refuse, or some one further back complain, the offender will go totally self righteous and say either "I wasn't talking to you, kindly mind your own business" or "Kindly don't embarrass me in front of my child," adding then to the little darling "You see Agnes this is what a mean rude person behaves like, you don't want to be like that do you?" or if all else fails will move to the next person forward and say, "Well since this person is being so utterly disagreeable and rude, you don't mind if I go before you?"

Well I have it on the word of my Great grandfather, who was a Jew, that unless your mother was a Jew you will never be a Jew, even if you are a Gair, your still a goy just one whose children will be Jewish.
But it may go to show that some Jews are as ignorant of and hippocrytical about their scriptures as the Christians are, he was after all. In that he fathered my Grandma outside of marriage to the widow woman next door and never married her.
He did help bring up my Gran. That and later her son, my father, was named after his Sister's married name, she married a gentile too.

My second marriage has lasted for 26+ plus years and I ascribe this in no small part to the fact that we were pals as children, friends as adults and finally partners before becoming spouse.
We know one another, accept one another, trust one another and love each other, in the end you cannot beat that sort of relationship, in my opinion.

I'm sorry if you feel attacked or judged, I don't know you and made no call about you personally whatsoever, I was speaking generally and from experience.
I have been married twice and my first wife could turn on the tears as easily as turning on a tap to get her own way with her father, it did not work with her mother or sister who would simply tell her to belt up, and she did, it was remarkable to see.
I've known other people capable of doing this before and since, as a trained actor I can do it myself, but have never used it off stage and never would lie like that to another person.
My point was simply yes I am empathic to another person's distress and will assist any way I can, but given good reason to believe it is not genuine, I will ignore it, I do not like emotional games from anyone as it does a disservice to them and to people's feelings generally.

I'm sorry if you feel attacked or judged, I don't know you and made no call about you personally whatsoever, I was speaking generally and from experience.
I have been married twice and my first wife could turn on the tears as easily as turning on a tap to get her own way with her father, it did not work with her mother or sister who would simply tell her to belt up, and she did, it was remarkable to see.
I've known other people capable of doing this before and since, as a trained actor I can do it myself, but have never used it off stage and never would lie like that to another person.
My point was simply yes I am empathic to another person's distress and will assist any way I can, but given good reason to believe it is not genuine, I will ignore it, I do not like emotional games from anyone as it does a disservice to them and to people's feelings generally.

They also now use the terms "Doctrine" and "policy" interchangeably, until someone challenges it at which point the teaching in question becomes policy definitely not Doctrine or in extreme cases "well meaning speculation" by a church authority.

Ultimately there is only one reason for the prophet to exist today and that is to act as the chief executive for the two "corporation sole" legal entities known as:
Corporation of the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

between which are owned All of the business interests of the the LDS church including their $32billion of stocks and shares, media empire, property empire (Which until the 1920s included a string of brothels) and retail empire.
By law a member of the organisation identified by title has to be the sole titular owner of of the corporation, in the case of the LDS this is the President and Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or the longest serving apostle (which is why despite claims of a calling from god, it is ALWAYS the longest serving apostle who becomes the next prophet.)
In short the prophet is a euphemism for the chairman of the board of directors.

The generally agreed order agreed on by historians is that Mark was the first gospel, written by a Jewish follower of Paul, dating from about 60 to 70 AD, it is aimed largely as new converts and is a primer on the life of Christ, the final chapters referring to the resurrection, were not present in the earlies texts we have and were seemingly added somewhere around the 6th century perhaps much later.
Matthew and Luke come from about the same period of time, between 75 and 100 AD, they both quote verbatim from Mark and from one other source, commonly referred to as the Q document. Matthew as I said was a gospel for the Hebrews, Luke however is a gospel for the Romans, stated as being such and by the same author as the Acts, Luke it is summarized was a doctor, a Roman or Roman Citizen and was likely a disciple of Paul.
John's Gospel is much later, quotes from neither Q or Mark, but does seem to have been aware of Matthew and Luke as well as some of the apocryphal gospels.
It is a gospel for the Greek Intelligentsia, contains multiple mentions of Platonic philosophy and is also Stoicism influenced. It is assumed it came from a man using the name John living on the Island of Patmos about 120 to 175 AD.
However it has been discovered recently that it is in fact likely an edited down and sanitised version of an earlier document known as the Levitikon (not to be confused with the book of the same name published in the 19th century) a scripture of the rival sect who followed the Messiahship of John the Baptist and regarded Jesus as a usurper that in some parts of the middle east clings on as the gnostic sect known as the Mandaeins.

Let us assume inoculation spares 30 million, all of who go on to reproduce now immunised children between 1918 and 1936, this is a population increase of 60 to 70 million by the time we reach the beginning of world war 2, with no increase in food production technology or other medical breakthroughs.
The spanish flu does not go away, as always it mutates, 18 years is plenty of time for a new strain to appear, world war two allows the spread and even weaponization of the new strain to go global as it did in WW1.
This of course preempts the 1957 pandemic by 20 years and so antiviral drugs are not yet available, requiring containment of what is basically a plague.
Given the mass overpopulation problem this may lead to culling of the infected, especially in an era of racial and physical purity doctrines all over europe, blame would almost certainly have attached to certain ethnic groups as the carriers of the plague leading to ethic cleansing.
The development of nuclear weapons at this time, or at least radiation dirty bombs may have been seen as a way to end the plague leading to mutations, nuclear devastation of large areas and the destruction of the ecosystem.
Vaccines save lives, lives reproduce, reproduction causes people, people cause more people and hence overpopulation, over population upsets the natural balance and causes mutations.
So all I am saying is messing with the time line is a really bad idea.

The DCEU really isn't all that bad.

The MCU is better in film than the DCEU. The DC-TV universe is generally better than the Marvel TV universe -- or maybe even. Comics-wise I actually enjoy reading more DC characters than Marvel. In the end it's all good. It's great to see all my favorites on the big and small screen!

I used to get so much crap in the early comic shops for buying DC comic over Marvel, pre MCU Doctor Strange was the only Marvel comic I bought on a regular basis , and even then I always suspected Doctor Fate could kick his ass.
