LenHazell53 replies on May 6, 2018:
Dr. Theodor Morell was a quack (before and after he was recruited by Hitler) and most of the nostrums he peddled to Hitler were early versions of what today we call Probiotics, extracted from the faeces of German troops. Hitler had poor digestion, chronic colic and IBS problems all of his life, Morrell was able to control this more by luck than good management, he did use large doses of herbal painkillers too (opiates and salicylic acid), this was mainly to deal with Hitler's awful dental problems and gentile deformation caused by a wound during WW1 (his nickname in the trenches was Corporal screamer, and this was the source of the famous "one ball" song). Morrell fancied himself as an acolyte of Hitler and decked himself out in pseudo military uniforms, adopted a high and mighty attitude and was in constant attendance to his sole patient. Strangely however the respect seems to have been reciprocated, and Morrell was the only person to leave the final Bunker alive and the final known Hitler signature is on Morrell's travel papers, a final act of friendship and mercy from one of history's greatest monsters

LenHazell53 replies on May 6, 2018:
Galilee was a trading port from whence the fleet of such traders as Joseph of Arimathea travelled all across the Roman Empire. A major commodity that was traded there was tin, the only known tin mines in the Roman empire were in Cornwall England so if the true father of Jesus, assuming he existed, could even have been an ancient British tin trader or any other European. This of course assumes the "virgin" Mary was not a virgin at all, and was open to shall we say negotiable affections? We do know she did not live in Nazareth as there is no record of a settlement there until after 33 CE, we do know Jesus and disciples were recognisable by their Galilean accents another result of a multicultural society, so the idea is not altogether implausible.

LenHazell53 comments on May 6, 2018:
NO The Christian god is a monster, eternal life is a curse, especially his idea of eternal bliss which is basically stroking his ego forever and ever amen. You would have to be as insane as he is described to be to want that. What a freaking nightmare.
LenHazell53 replies on May 6, 2018:
@paul1967 No forever is too long a time, everything would either have to stagnate with you if the immortality was universal, or else everything else would die and leave you constantly mourning, either option still leaves you alone, in a finite universe that you will eventually know everything about and will lose to the vastness of time. Humans will all die or evolve past the point when they are humans; again you will be alone, a relic, and a curiosity. Nothing about living forever is appealing; it is eventually, loneliness, stagnation and the torture of unending monotony. A society of immortals would be worse still, sheer boredom would lead to endless un-winnable wars, torture for the sake of pain, utter cruelty and insensitivity. Death's inevitability is all that gives life meaning; it is the great leveller and the great motivator.

LenHazell53 replies on May 6, 2018:
The legislation relating to Blasphemy in the Uk was repealed in.....get ready for this....2008! Prior to that is was still possible to be criminally prosecuted for Blasphemy, and what is worst, it has NEVER been repealed in Scotland, Northern (and southern) Ireland, both of whom refused to comply with the 2008 ruling and kept it on their common law books. Many states of the Union still have Blasphemy laws and the last successful prosecution was in 1926 upheld in the supreme court, but court time and has been wasted on many cases since, all of which have been overturned on appeal. In both Britain and the US there is NO legal definition of blasphemy, other than it be offensive to Christian sensibilities, in word thought or action. Now doesn't that sound eerily familiar if you replace Blasphemy with Hate speech?

AmelieMatisse comments on May 5, 2018:
Hahaaa well he couldn't have been white, could he? The gay part doesn't bother me and we do know for sure that he was Jewish.
LenHazell53 replies on May 6, 2018:
Actually no we don't. Since there is no proof who Jesus father was, his father may not have been Jewish, and could possibly have been Roman and therefore white. Since Judaism/Israelite heritage was passed down through the male line in those days, not the female as it is has since the 12th century; Jesus could quite possibly have been White, gentile and gay. Even if Jesus' father was God, the god of the Jews was not an Israelite, therefore not Jewish, so neither was his son. Lots of history from the time suggests that far from being a Jew, Jesus was in fact an heretical Nazori priest of the cult contemporarily headed by John the Baptist and Dositheus his immediate successor.

LenHazell53 replies on May 3, 2018:
Thank you for your story, Personally I do not think Psychic is a word to be applied to what you are describing (too many negative connotations). Sympathetic intuition or Telepathy for want of a better term is a proven phenomenon, especially between mothers and children, siblings, especially twins, and spouses. The simple instinctive feeling that something is wrong or is needed, the intuition of being certain of who is on the phone before you answer it, and the mother knowing what her baby needs, all of this has been well tested and documented and simpatico communication between humans and working animals. I feel it is a natural thing that we have to some extent evolved away in favour of technology but which remains in more agrarian societies to a great extent than those that embraced industrialism. However the so called Psychic powers, such as remote viewing, mind reading, overpowering another's will, passing mental verbal messages, mental domination, implanting false realities etc. These all remain firmly in the realm of the fantasist and the magician, having been thoroughly studied and debunked by several intelligence agencies through out the world seeking to weaponized and use for espionage such "paranormal" phenomena. Not what you are talking about at all.

I chose for the purposes of research to train with the SNU since they have a more eclectic approach to mysticism and do not claim to be a wholly Christian organisation, embracing as they do elements of trantrisism, Egyptian spiritualism and various other ideologies. GWCS on the other hand are a Christian denomination, following the teachings of a mystical being named Zodiac (An admitted pseudonym of a scribe serving in the Jerusalem Temple at the time of Christ) who relayed a new set of "Christian" teachings relating to the afterlife and spirit communication through various mediums between 1920 and 1957. @Hobartian I believe so, I also think his service was the source of the Quote "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel." He died after being over bled by an incompetent army surgeon, which is ironic as John Polidori used Byron as the model for his protagonist Lord Ruthven, in "The Vampyre" the first successful and popular vampire fiction. If you have time look up the biographical film "The Bad Lord Byron" starring Dennis Price in one of his best performances ever. The film was made in the 1940s so is toned down a lot, but is a very enjoyable movie.

@Gwendolyn2018 It is also a proven fake, no serious historian is of any doubt that the passage, what there is of it, about 4 lines, was edited in around the 6th century. Even if it is real, why give four lines to Jesus and almost an entire chapter to John the Baptist? Assuming he ever existed at all Was Jesus that unimportant? Since I have said there were many Jesus about at the time, and the the word Christ simply meant anointed one, and did not carry the connotations we give it today, the James passage could refer to anyone (if you use the douay Rheims version of the Bible, there are two other Jesus' mentioned in the Bible, barabbas and Jesus the wise).

Now There's A Paradox.
SleepingOnABoat comments on Apr 25, 2018:
This one is not a paradox, although there are many similar that are a paradox. A lie does not depend on something being true or false, but the belief of truth or falsehood. So what happens depends on the belief, not the fact of what he says.
LenHazell53 replies on Apr 26, 2018:
I think you are playing with the definition of the verb to lie, to create an equivocation. When you use the word falsehood, that better fits the definition of a deliberate and intentional deception. One can lie quite unintentionally, especially if you are under the impression that a lie is the truth, by incorrect use of grammar or syntax, or by quoting as believed truth the words of another. The lie stands as an untruth, regardless of the intent of the speaker, perpetuation, rather than perpetration a lie, makes no difference to the lie itself. A falsehood, or perjury includes in their etymological root, the implication of deliberate being in a state of evil intent in order to deceive. Where as the root word of the verb to lie has no such connotation but simply means to lay down an untruth (wittingly or unwittingly) Lie (untruth) and Lie (place down upon)and to lay (to take some something or accept something submissively) all have the same proto germanic root

LenHazell53 replies on Apr 23, 2018:
@Betty Faith when used as a noun meaning trust, or fidelity comes from the middle English word "fay" meaning a matter of trust, honour or confidence. However Faith in the religious sense of accepting as true without good cause, is a proper noun and has a totally different root etymology and comes from bheidh a Proto-Indo-European root indicating a state of blind allegiance, adherence or utter loyalty, based on nothing but a choice to do so. Time actually has done the opposite of what you suggest and merged two phononyms with a superficial similarity in to one word meaning both and leaving its use open to equivocation in theological and logical arguments. "mad", "cool", "wicked" "gay", are not comparable since they are slang uses of existing words that have appropriated cultural and colloquial second ( or even third or fourth) meanings, though Race is comparable as it too has several meanings each with actual different root etymologies.

@Bierbasstard I am not offended by the language spoken in the USA and have no ire, other than to be of the opinion that it is NOT English in any form, it is a language in spelling, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation that evolved from English and which completely ignores the etymology of English when randomly assigning meanings to words with no lexicographically historical substantiation. I do object to the importation of "American" as English and the enforced acceptance in Great Britain of "alternate spelling" and "alternate pronunciations" when it is no such thing and is in fact another language the adoption of which has caused the degradation of the actual English language in England. In short all I ask is stop calling it "American English" when it clearly is no such thing, call it what it is "United States American." By the way Bastardisation is spelled with an S not a Z even in America, it is only spelled with a Z in Australia.

LenHazell53 replies on Apr 17, 2018:
@TheMiddleWay I'm afraid to me that is tacit approval, because the people in you class might get your nuances, but it does not alter the fact that fanatics can legitimately claim their lies are being taught as science/truth in educational establishments, thus legitimising their bullshit. Would you teach demonology in a premed class as an "Alternate theory" to germ theory, of course not, because it would be bloody stupid, and dangerous. Creationism is not science and so has no place in a science class, even as a controversy, and it is a poor teacher who would allow it, never mind go along with it. I taught English as a second language, should I have taught my students to pray for the gift of tongues? If we allow these people to redefine language to mean whatever they want it to mean, we are all lost.
