I am 65, and was a college educated pastor of 3 churches. I have been agnostic for 25 years. I am happily married to one woman for 44 years, and have 4 children, and 7 grand children. I found this group serendipitously, and I am glad for it. I love nature, and can marvel in that beauty.

That should apply not just for those who want to all out ban guns, but also to anyone who suggests ...
Leutrelle comments on Aug 21, 2018:
In States with high legal gun ownership have less crime. I think the liberals don't realize how many gun toting citizens there are, and less guns will put us in more danger. By the way that sling shot kept me from being kidnaped when I was 12.
I was asked to forward this from a friend of mine, the topic is immigration.

Leutrelle comments on Aug 26, 2018:
I was born in Pa, and have lived in many states since. My gut tells me that most of the democrats that I have known are not that that far tilted to the left. Albeit I have met some that are, but many that I knew like their shooting as much as me.
Interesting read, I'll be doing some more research on that... [thetruthaboutguns.com]
Leutrelle comments on Aug 26, 2018:
I think weather this is fact or not doesn't really address the argument. The right to keep and bear arms only would make sense if the fire arms were contemporary. I can't remember the Union Generals name, but after the civil he recommended that army be equipped with the long bow. An archer had a significant advantage of arrows per minute over the time consuming mussel loading weapon. I think the AR is a reasonable choice for a weapon of recreation, or defending our home turf.
Saw this today in an email. Immediately thought of this group of heathens:

When it comes to gun rights most of the liberals are hypocrites as indicated by the following news ...
Leutrelle comments on Aug 27, 2018:
The only point I would make is that guns and booze is not good combination. It is illegal in most states to carry a fire arm into bar or restaurant that serves alcohol even with a carry permit.

You never no when your going to need it;) Knock on wood but I have needed my seat belt, and it has been many year since I needed a spare tire, but I still carry one.
