New transplant from Texas - it's way cooler here in MN.

I think I'm just looking to meet people, learn the mysterious way of Minnesota and have fun. I'm coming in blind to the area and appreciate articulate, well read, funny, socially conscious people to hang out with. Preferably guys that can cook. (wink) I need some help in this transition from "everything is bigger" to urban living.

Misc: comfortable in most situations. I can drink scotch with the Generals, drink beer with the Privates, and talk both of them out of war.

Moving here to get healthy (I love the cold) and start Act II.....from scratch. "And at her age!", the church ladies gasped. Sense of humor welcome.
