Actually QR codes are a bad idea to scan unless you can be absolutely positive that it hasn't been tampered with. Since the QR codes are so redundant they can be up to 70% destroyed or rendered illegible and still be read they have been targeted by scammers for editing so they can get control of your device without your knowledge....
