They deny patients care that they need so they can pocket more money for themselves and investors. My professor for accounting in college once told the class that he loved the Canadian healthcare system because while on a cruise to Alaska his wife had a health emergency and was airlifted to a Canadian hospital where she spent 2 weeks and he figured it was going to bankrupt them. But when he got the bill he was shocked that the only thing he had to pay for was diagnostic tests at the lab across the street totaling him a couple thousand dollars... Yet I found out later he was heavily invested in an HMO's stocks and was receiving huge dividends yet he didn't see his hypocrisy in supporting the system that was giving less care for for so much money that if his wife had been in the US during her emergency he would have been forced into bankruptcy....

This is not enough to support society as a whole and as much as red states believe they can survive this level of losses they can't do it because of their dependency on technology... @racocn8 Which country?... Many of them are experiencing decline Russia has dropped to less than 145 million down from the post WW2 population of 205 million... The UN has predicted they will drop below 120 million by 2050 but with how the country is being run I expect it to drop way below 100 million by then. Other countries have dropped as much as 20% in the last decade while others actually have increasing populations due to immigration. Everything is hard to figure mainly because of people leaving shitholes like Russia for better lives in other countries but how much of a decline would they be experiencing without immigration bolstering their population?... You really should have read the first comment as I gave the answer to this problem and the fact that gasoline and diesel vehicles are not immune to the cold either... The entire problem with electric vehicles can be solve with the addition of a hydrogen fuel cell and using it properly... Because the fuel would need to reach 435 degrees F to freeze and if it was to get that cold you would be fucked anyway.
