Actually you only want to keep a very small balance on a credit card at the end of the reporting period. I have two cards with a total 14,000 limit between them and when the lender reports them I have $25 on each. The effective usage shows as zero but if I did pay them to zero the credit reporting agencies show them as closed. I went through this before and lost a lot of credit history then had to fight with Transunion for 3 years to get them to put it back. At present my Equifax is 795, Transunion is 785 and Experian is 777 so I do know what I am talking about.

@glennlab I usually put that stuff together myself I not only enjoy it but it saves a ton of cash putting together your own computer and you can put together one several times faster and more powerful than the crap they sell at the store for half to a third the price if you know where to buy the parts. I am even putting together my own ebike repair shop and battery lab so I can build better on those as well. My main bike right now is a two wheeler with a 750W 48 volt motor and two 20 AH batteries. I even have in addition to head and tail lights brake lights, front and rear turn signals and just received the 11 speed rear cassette for it so no hills will slow me down once I replace the motor with the 1KW motor I bought for it.

@Betty No the ones I managed to hide I know exactly where they are... She is about 20 months younger than I am and has always been a pain in the ass. She is one of the reasons I was so happy when they told me I was adopted. For one thing she seems to believe she is smarter than everyone else but I am NOT the one who failed the GED 3 times.

@Ryo1 Yeah but you still have to remember India has crazy ideas on every subject and as many different crazy ideas on any one subject and the people you talk to.... I just told one of their phone scammers that "in any civilized country you would be looking at 20 years on prison for being an asshole scammer like you..." They think that either the bank gives them money back or that they are the good guys and nobody is getting hurt. Then there are the good people who if they find out what they are doing ostracize them even their own family members will treat them like they don't exist.
