When I was in high school I was one of the founding members of the Apathy club.... One of the others was on the school paper and would write small articles like "The Apathy club held its weekly meeting on Wednesday and a membership drive was discussed but nobody could be bothered so the meeting was adjourned..." Or that nobody could be bothered to show up. Hardly anyone got the joke and the club picture was a empty space in one of the science classrooms with the caption that nobody could be bothered to show up for the yearbook photo....

A Democratic Socialist party with some well known people like Bernie and AOC behind it who can convince their followers to register and donate $10 a month... @MichelleGar1 The "two party system" was caused by corruption. Before it was forced on us we used to have as many a 5 separate but often equally matched parties running a candidate. Today the GOP and RNC are the only ones who receive advantages like matching funds from our tax dollars and you have to have so many EC votes to win that both parties call 3rd party candidates "spoilers" to blame the voters instead of their own corrupt policies for losing.
