After being home for 3 months, Mondays have felt good. But then, I truly enjoy my job. I didn't mind my time off though...pandemic or not.

So many of these bad choices from the past are cropping up. I think we'd be more forgiving if people would own up immediately and apologize profusely. I know it's not always that simplistic. I also think there's almost mob mentality in our society right now..on BOTH sides of the political spectrum.

Just curious, do you believe in karma or law of attraction?

Dr. Kevorkian assisted my Aunt Sue. I wish Michigan had a Death With Dignity law. I keep my bank account in Oregon and use my son's address there to make my transition easier if I ever need to use their law. We voted 2x to pass the law there.

I couldn't figure out which category to put this in, as it jumps all around the place.

In my opinion, the poll shouldn't necessarily be who would be most likely to help those in need but more explicitly where each group might be willing or "able" to help. I know some very conservative atheists that may help where a theist would and I know theists that wouldn't have a problem donating to programs like Planned Parenthood, etc.

Was raised Catholic, always had my doubts. Used to stare at the crucifix and wonder who the hell would do that to their own son? I never understood confession...wouldn't an all knowing God know my sins and whether or not I was sorry for them? So many questions!

It's worked for many. Its like any other differences in a relationship. You figure out respectful boundaries and agree to disagree. If you can't do those things, it's probably not going to work out.

The ad wording was "dimples are cute on your face, not on your thighs". They apologized and agreed to remove future advertising. I have dimples on my face and on my thighs...its NOT cute on my thighs. I get the overall message from everyone about the shaming but feel the need to say I wasn't offended by this particular ad's verbiage.

Did you go to Camp Dearborn in Milford? My family has gone every year for 45+ years. What part of Ohio do you currently live? I lived in Delaware (suburb of Columbus) for awhile. Considering all of the sports rivalries I grew up with between Michigan and Ohio, I was pleasantly surprised it was a such a great place to live!
