I was about 10, flying in from Calgary to Denver in first class with my family probably for Christmas and there he was. dressed all in white like the pictures used to show him. There were a lot of stairs at the old Denver Airport and as a very large man he had a very hard time. @Jolanta I am very sorry to hear that. I think parenting is the most important job there is yet so many people don't give it the effort it requires. I wish requirements had to be met before people could become parents but I know it would be unenforceable. I think the effects of poor parenting are lifelong although the can be mitigated with good support.

As planned pregnancies go, I think people have children for two reasons: for what they can do for those children and for what those children can do for them. The second is not a valid reason but it happens a lot anyway. People have no business having children if they are not going to make their best effort to: 1. Provide the best home they can for those children; 2. Build strong relationships with those children; and 3. Teach those children how to be independent. I'm sorry at least one of these things did not happen for you and the responsibility for that lays squarely with your parents.

This very sweet, little fellow belonged to my neighbor a couple of years ago.

But my question is really trying to distinguish between being a member of a group or not and so far it is to cut down on the workload of the site moderators like you say because the groups are moderated by other members but that's not really enough to interest me in joining a group. The group posts don't even show up in my feed so I have to visit each group only to usually find that there is nothing new.

Yes, it is obvious that groups are for people with similar interests, so I asked if non-feminusts were allowed in the Women's Empowerment group and one of the responses was so nasty that I immediately blocked the person. I joined several groups and none of them have much activity but thank you for that information.

@Fernapple I'm sorry I wasn't clearer. I have no problem working with religious people but this will be a non-religious website that only a non-religious web designer would be appropriate for. I have a laptop that I haven't opened in years. To date, my phone can do everything I need except draft documents, which I just do by hand. I like just using my phone because it is so easy to carry with me but I think that will limit me with regard to web design. I am in the middle of liquidating my possessions on ebay and Craig's List and any time I spend on this project detracts from that although if I don't proceed now it probably never will.

My idea encompasses a website that could accommodate unlimited capabilities and expansion such that all interest would be welcome, although I'm not even sure that is possible in this context. One of the reasons I want my collaborator to develop the program is because if something happens to me, I would have made arrangements for that person to become sole proprietor. Sounds like I have a lot to learn either way bit I'm confident the right person will come along if my idea is feasible. If I don't move forward on this now, I probably never will.
