@OldMetalHead In that case, I am a 7 on Dawkins Scale and it is not about belief, it is about the lack of evidence. There is no credible evidence of any gods and nothing else in nature to support the possible existence of any gods. When anyone can present any credible evidence (not argument) of any gods, it should be taken into consideration. Until then, that is my final word on the subject for the purposes of this thread.

My question was whether one could be both atheist and agnostic. Most below seem to think so, but no also put in a strong showing among many fascinating answers that I am still contemplating with a couple of non-answers. You also appear to be a no since The Dawkins Scale doesn't appear to allow for it. But whether god exists as per The Dawkins Scale is a completely different question. Of course it is the most interesting question in the religious arena and I like the way Dawkins has quantified it but agree with your reservation. If I gave you my answer I would be here to time immemorial defending it so I hope you will give me a deferment for now. I am experiencing a personal emergency that must take priority. Thank you for asking and answering.

It will be a social networking exclusively for atheists. I have not logged in nor will I. I envision the members delivering the content. not unlike this site. I have a very limited amount of time (and even less technical knowledge) to devote to this project, that's why I need a collaborator. I've had a couple of unexpected problems arise this morning that will take me a few days to solve and then I can devote some more time to this project.

Sorry I don't know what hosting is. There were some add ons to the purchase but I don't remember what they were. I am not in the position to learn a new skill for the foreseeable future so I'm ready to hand it all over asap.

I have been persecuted all my life for being an atheist. I am now going to try to build an online atheist community so it only seems appropriate that the web designer be atheist, especially if they are going to stay involved with the project. The agnostic label is a bit dicey because as I understand it not all of them are non-religious. If I can't develop the domain in the time I have, I will try to pass it along to someone who would like to try.

Instead of distributing our stockpile of PPE to the states like it was stockpiled for, the feds actually sold it to private companies who sold it to the states at a profit. So we paid for it twice and there still isn't enough because the companies the feds paid to produce it never came through. So we actually paid for a shortage of PPE three times.
