I have never shied away from hard work. In my life I have been a mother, Emergency Medical Technician, Interpreter, Union Organizer and telephone worker. I have also worked in retail and restaurants, and recently joined Grid Alternatives apprenticeship program for solar system installation, where I volunteer weekly. I love working outside and conquering new challenges while helping low income residents in my community save money and the planet at the same time. (I know, it sounds far fetched, but it does make a difference)
