I remember back when I used to believe, I was a catholic for 16 years. In High School, at lunch on a beautiful sunny day, I started to have questions about the nature of God, the one I believed in. It didn't make sense to me. If he is omnipotent and is benevolent, why let things go the way they are? If I were god, I certainly wouldn't. But I thought to myself that this line of thinking is bad, however, I rationalized that if God exists, He gave me a brain and surely wouldn't be mad if I used it. Worst case scenario, I could just ask Him to forgive me. I decided that I would take it one step further than questioning the nature of God. I would question his existence. By then I was so sure that I would find some way to connect any answer to Him
