the first 30 years of my life were pretty rough, but now that I'm out of the bible belt things are much better. My history is pretty dark and traumatic, and I do still wear the scars, but if that doesn't scare you away you will find that I am honest to a fault and loyal to those who earn my respect.

I'm not quite certain what I want out of a dating website, as my life has not been very conducive to dating up to this point. Survival always seemed like it would be easier if I only had to care for myself. Now that my world has settled to the point that survival is no longer the only attainable goal, I have room to consider that companionship and intimacy can be more important than mere survival.
