Born and raised in a Catholic family, however, I faded out of it over the years, coming out as Atheist/Agnostic/Non-believer in my early 30s.

I agree with Richard Dawkins with respect to the bible that it is essential to read it, and learn it, for the cultural reference, its history and how it affected the development of our society. Everyone has a right to believe in what they want, however, everyone has a right to be skeptical, question everything they have been taught, especially if they have been indoctrinated into something they had no say in declining.
