its ironic that this is an atheist/agnostic site but most of the posts seem to be about religion?

It is nice to discuss the flaws of religion as I have experienced them with others who have had similar experiences. It is nice that others have recognized and made decisions of like kind because of common experiences.It provides some relief to know that your decision was not unique.

I am a person of extremely few friends by choice. They those I feel most comfortable with.However I seem to attract people like fly's. It seems to happen because I ask people many questions which introduces me to these people.The next time I see them if I am interested in them I will approach them again and during that time I would suggest meeting for coffee sometime. It works but is difficult for a shy person. Once you make a new friend they will introduce you to others and the ball will start rolling. Try it because it does work.

I agree the corporations need to be brought under control and we might be able to this if we limit the money they can contribute. Trump is one stupid person in so many ways that I cannot find words to describe him!.In my state they just passed new laws by people who did not shoot or have any real knowledge about guns.The result are some stupid rules that lack what should have been done.

I agree with most of your comments but have a problem with automatic pistols as these can be controlled by magazine size. With regard to assault rifles I totally agree, they serve no purpose for hunting and should not be permitted. I also shot expert on rifle and pistol in the Marines and have been shooting since I was 10 years old.. I have never hunted as I do not believe in killing for fun! There does not seem to be any laws controlling the purchase of parts to convert weapons to auto and I think these mail order places need to be shut down.It would be nice if the people making the laws included people that shoot which would avoid dumb laws and requirements.
