@Garf, @Wisterious Goatheads just pierce the skin and sometimes are hard to pull out, sometimes I point that goes in the skin breaks off from the whole sticker and you have to pull it out with tweezers. A band was recently featured on NPR which incorporated African-American spirituals in their music, but I don't recall the name and whether it was Rock or Metal. I rarely remember "squat" if I don't write it down. Guess I've got some backtracking to do. Thanks for sparking a reminder.

This may be that band NPR did a segment on within the last few weeks. It may be that I didn't catch the name at the time but meant to look it up. While nothing has truly caught on with me so far, I am intrigued by the concept.

@William_Mary I have a friend who is a nurse and she's working in the covid unit, she says that they are to capacity and people going to the ER having a heart attack are basically left to die. She's working 12 hour shifts anywhere from 5-6 day's straight, she's exhausted and wants to quit, but she can't. She has to work, her husband is a covid survivor. He was in the hospital for 6 months and coded twice. He now has to learn how to walk again, he had memory loss, and has to have an oxygen tank, so he can't work and she has to pay all the medical bills.

I voted in person on Tuesday. It took less than 20 minutes. I took off Wednesday, the 4th to either celebrate or keen my impending hangover ;-)
