Grew up Southern Baptist. I left church behind soon after turning adult. But I was in AA for much of my adult life. It was cultish. Since leaving about 6 years ago, atheism and Kurt Vonnegut have changed me for the better. Kindness at every turn. Enjoy the moments.

In matter of sex and the heart, I'm a free thinker in much the same way I am regarding religion. Love isn't zero sum. The standard of coupling happily ever after as the norm for us all has done enough harm already. This ain't Disney. And finally...CONSENT! CONSENT! CONSENT! first and always.
