Since old man Belzak passed on I do not have all of his barn cats reproducing & finding my property more appealing than his. At one point I had 16 in the garage. I lived to trap, neuter & house. They all have passed on now & I have one tuxedo boyo who just decided to stay after eyeing my bird feeders hungrily. He now has a orange hazard tape wrapped color with 3 bells & is named Zoot Suit. Has yet to catch any birds but the plethora of chipmunks have been reduced. People dump unwanted pets here in rural Wisconsin. I hate them. Not the pets. The jerks that would dump a pet. They dump children don't they?

All of the cats I ever had loved to scratch on a log. A small piece of landscape log sans arsenic preservative gives them what they really want. Not what a store or company tricks you into buying. You can train a cat with catnip that the place to scratch is this log. It does not have to be vertical. Mine are about a meter long. I do not clip the nails & they no what "ouch" means & do not scratch me.

I would have enjoyed taking the bastard on. Perhaps it is better I didn't get to do that. I might be suspended again before my Tee shirt arrives. There was a proposal here in Wisconsin to have a cat shooting season. It was soundly defeated. Tho I dislike trap neuter release it is effective in reducing the over population of dumped feral cats. "Big pharma" refers to the immense corporations that stifle research for their own benefit. Since the government outlawed research on the curative properties of cannabis there is not yet enough conclusive research on the plant. It is very possible it could be a preventative application & there is evidence that if applied to certain skin lesions there is improvement. I use drugs that large phamacudicals reap great monetary benefit from. Those that attribute curative powers to cannabis are either premature or have direct personal experience with it themselves.

If the police are on the side of democracy & is used to prevent fascism from dominating society then........ As fascism employs the doctrine of violence such a contraption is useful. The problem lies at what point is democracy not. Redress of grievances when one is denied enfranchise, redress of grievances, the right to bear arms, freedom of assembly etc. Then what. Used in the defence of freedom & justice against the foes thereof could be plausable. But then such tactical equipment us usually in the control of an oppressor.

Forgiveness

I came to forgiveness after many years in counseling attempting to reset all that I was taught. I now understand a complete inability to wrestle with life's challenges in a positive manner was due to mental illness & a complete lack of parental role models. How could I not forgive, as the crimes were beyond the control of the perpetrator? An inability to direct rage towards a positive outcome. That I should repeat such affronts was merely continuing a legacy of damage. Altho 35 years has now separated us, & the death that ensued has left me free of any possibility of reconciliation, it was I that sought healing & reformed behavior & not the adversary. This pursuit has left me in a more stable & healthful realm. Combined with forgiveness & the distance of years, I am far from complete but I am closer than I would have been had I chosen the damaging path that I was compelled to follow. Forgiveness frees the victim. It is not for the assaillant.

I see lots of people talk about not liking being alone.
