I have 4 acres here in southern Wisconsin. 1/2 acre is for me, the house & the livestock. Dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs & a parrot. The rest of the property is being restored. The micro ecosystem has oak savannah where I am restoring woodland flowers by removing invasive species such as euro buckthorn & garlic mustard. 2 acres of prairie restoration. A wetland area with a pond on the Des Plaines river water shed. The property is mainly for the wildlife & a rest stop for migrating birds, a priority. I live to aid them in their passage. 5 years ago I bought 35 acres of pinion & Gambel's oak, with a heart stopping view of Mesa Verde. I live there off the grid in the summer, removing invasives there as well. This too is reserved for the wildlife.

There are other cultures that recognize more than one gender. The colonialists imposed their rigid view of gender identity & sexual deviancy upon their conquered peoples. Hawaii, India, , Native Americans all had a culture of acceptance of more than one gender, of sexual identity & orientation. One does not have to be LBGTQ to be a member of the group. You are welcome to learn there. It is a far less restrictive group than others on this site. The many trans folks I have met are basically caught in the wrong body. It is not a matter of acting in any particular gender accepted manner. It is feeling as one gender while being trapped in a body that is alien to them. So at birth doctors have had a history of assigning gender when genitalia is deformed or of having the organs of both sexes. Or even a circumcision gone horribly wrong. That is becoming outmoded as science & society adjust to the new realities of gender identity.

I take offence that you refer to yourself as "a girl" at 42 years of age but take offence at an elderly man that refers to women as "female". I find "What's in it for me?" is an indication of how boomer parents have raised a generation X rife with hubris. As if a life is unique to some when life itself is suffering according to the Buddhists. But I do not expect you to "understand half of what I said." Perhaps if you leave this site it will be better. I did not know about the "liberal" nuances that have emerged. Classical & constitutional are terms I am learning about. I enjoy learning & expanding my knowledge. This site is contributing to that. I/we do not have to filter out all of the bible bangers in order to get to some substance.
