How do feel about camping?

I own 35 acres with a view of Mesa Verde that could stop your heart. I use it for off the grid camping. The 4 corners is one of the least populated areas in the lower 48. I like it that way. I am far more afraid of the human element especially the male of the species & the isolation reduces my fear. The rattle snake I saw merely moved into its den upon smelling me. The little lizards no longer run from me. Mosquitos are less due to the arid conditions. Owls fly thru my camp site at night. Cooper's hawk during the day. Fox & turkeys & elk & mule deer.

I notice a lot of atheist groups, particularly "New Atheists" tend to side with apartheid Israel ...

Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. That should be enough for any one's support. So one Prime Minister agreed to 98% of what the Palastinian demanded, way back in the '80s, & received rocket launches from Gaza. Israel will lose in the end as the Arabics have multitudes of spawn. The Israeli Arabs I met who vote, practice their religion freely, & are not required to serve in the military as the Judaics are, do not involve themselves in this dilemma. When Jordan, which IS Palestine, occupied Jerusalem, the Judaics were not permitted to worship or access their religious sites. Under Israel all religions are free to worship, except maybe the Scientologists. Do they even worship? Israel is the only government which changes hands peacefully in the area. The rest are monarchs, dictators or corrupt pseudo elected despots. Kings & 58,000 princes don't get my vote. Of course there is no vote for anyone in Saudi. Palestinians born there are not even citizens. They are nationless people. Born in Israel they are citizens with full rights. No Judaics left in Libya where the community lasted thousands of years. Sorry. I support Israel tho most liberals whine about the poor Palestinians who continue to stymie every attempt at peace by launching missiles into Israeli territory. Yes there are still injustices. Humans are unjust. The Sephardics vs the Ashkenazi is a schism within Judaic Israel. I often ask myself how I can side with the evangelicals on this issue when I abhor them on every other stance they take? I dunno. Peace.

I have an acquaintance in such a triad. It has lasted for more than 20 years. It is preferable to passing along some disease as anonymous sex encounters could facilitate. Personnally I don't get it. The dom is not dom because he can not have her to himself & is grateful that the sub shares her. The sub is not sub because he holds her legally & is the father of her children & makes all of the decisions. So I guess sex is just a release of a fantasy that is only a reality in the boudoir. Living polyamourously is quite a challenge as one partner is difficult enough in my vanilla world. But who am I to question as it works for them. I am just disturbed that I know about it. I try to avoid the details but the dom likes to force it upon me hoping he could make it a quad. I usually go running and screaming and jump in the lake.

So the reason Trumpty Dumpty was elected was due to complacency. The polls said Hillary had it in the bag so people did not think they had to come out and vote for a candidate who was not popular. She did not come to my state Wisconsin because the Democratic candidate for senator had previously voted to impeach her husband Bill when he was president. Wisconsin was considered a safe state in the Democrats pocket. The African vote stayed home, & the blue eyed devil vote, energized, showed up at the polls. Trumpty won by less than 1%. But he won. Immigration. No one talks about the 50,000 Irish illegals here. They are the right color. The issue is brown. Most of our neighbors ethnicity in Mexico are indigenous brown people, of Native American extraction. The DNA of the bodies found in the deserts of our southwest are of Native American genes. It is bigotry pure & simple. Things are shitty. But the checks & balances that we have in place were meant to address this very issue of a tyrannical despot who dupes the people. A corrupt charlatan gains power. If this jerk gets to appoint more Supreme Court justices we will be suffering for a generation. We shall see if these checks & balances work or need fine tuning. Our mid term elections are coming in November. If we Democrats take back the House of Representatives & the Senate, we can stop him. It is the House that can impeach. Our millennials are fired up & I hope too our African Americans. Our Hispanics as well. Our coalition is working to ensure our people show up at the polls. Stay tuned. Were it not for Nixon's covering up the break in, he would have been considered great as he opened up China & ended that needless war in Vietnam. But he chose to destroy his legacy being the 1st president to resign. I hope this helps your understanding.

Out since kindergarten. Religiosos are often aghast that they "like" me, having thought we all were hiding horns & cloven hooves. Why am I out? How is the species supposed to evolve without secular humanism? If I lost any friends because of my beliefs they were not friends. They were doctrinaire. It was I who could not take their constant evangelizing, attempting to save my wretched soul. I did not attempt to convert them. But boy oh boy the onslaught of pressure became unbearable.

Please do not think this is part of our mainstream culture. But we as USAs do have a history of destroying established routines. Perhaps it says that under all of this pomp & regalia, we are at heart, rebels. We give Mom & Dad their lovely wedding & then trash it out of contempt for decorum. Jumping in the swimming pool or lake with the tuxedo & dress is another form of rebellion. This is my own opinion, but you might ask someone who has done this. I have not.
