@warlord13 P "Polio vaccines are vaccines used to prevent poliomyelitis. Two types are used: an inactivated vaccine given by injection and a attenuated vaccine given by mouth. The World Health Organization recommends all children be fully vaccinated against polio. The two vaccines have eliminated polio from most of the world, and reduced the number of cases reported each year from an estimated 350,000 in 1988 to 33 in 2018.! Wikipedia You neglected to mention that the MMR vaccine causes autism. You quote from an organisation that promotes healthy eating, which is laudable , apart from their promotion of raw milk, as a third of people ion the USA and the UK are obese but they should stick to that as they obviously know nothing about medicine

Unless you can afford an outside cabin it would be like being in a hotel room without windows. Why take days to go somewhere stuck on a floating hotel wnen you can fly there in a few hours. On my first visit to the USA my American partner took me to New York and expected me to be blown away. Hated it, but Yosemite and yellowstone national parks ? fantastic. FWIW, the Spanish flu was most likely not from Spain, the first identified case was in the US. Who cares? We also have not confirmed that the virus spread to humans via bats. The pangolin is now being looked at, but nothing is certain. Also suspected patient zero was never at the market....
Moravian replies on Apr 26, 2020:
Well if you are going to be picky. The flu was definiely not from Spain. It is thought that it originated in Asia but there is no certainty. The first identified case was not in America but it appears that the second more virulent strain appeared amongst US servicemen in a base in Kansas and spread round the US and Europe from there. Patient zero was never at the market ?. Amazing that you know this because as far as I am aware the Chinese authorities have not located patient zero.

It's been found that nicotine protects somewhat from getting COVID 19.
Moravian comments on Apr 23, 2020:

Moravian replies on Apr 23, 2020:
@Theresa_N Sounds a bit dubious and even in the unlikely case that nicotine has some beneficial effect the damage caused to the lungs by smoking would surely out weigh it. It is definitely the case that people living in a polluted environment are more susceptable so smoking would probably have a similar effect

@Burner Same here. there have been cases of people driving at crazy speeds on empty roads and some people driving to holiday homes. Apparently some were driving to their country home and having their luggage sent by courier in case they were stopped by the police. On the whole though I think we are better at following rules here in the UK. All churches are closed. there have been no mass protests and people are generally kepping away from the hills and beauty spots. There are always some as you say who think the rules are only for other people and of course accidents only happen to other people. I note that Literatehiker hasn't respondent to your earlier post. I wonder why ? :-)
