Only in America has this taken the hype and inane concept that your making a statement. I've been to Europe for the past 6 years and haven't seen anyone with makeup on. When I was growing up we used to go to the Circus to see people with Tattoos. That a Woman would mark herself up that in 5 years is going look like some sort of birth mark and they usually try and disguise them by getting them in conspicuous places. Some people get their dogs tatted across the belly for identification which I haven't seen in a while as collars and tags have served the purpose giving the poor creature a sore neck. I admire women who are au natural without makeup, hair dyes, face lifts and nothing but hard work and effort to keep themselves looking the way they truly are because their personalities match. I don't wear designer clothing or drive a car that is more than 5 years old. My Pickup is 9 years since I brought in new and it has close to 150k because I change the oil and have a good mechanic. I haven't been to a Barber in 5 years and I have a pair of thinning scissors to tonsure my bald palate. When I was working I would shave my head with a Remington Head Trimmer because I had to wear a Hardhat all day and if you ever have been in the situation then you can relate to what I'm saying. And on that note I will wait to hear what you can relate too, or whatever.

It is truly a place to behold if you physically are present. You have to plan this in advance because there are many difficulties and circumstances you will encounter because it is a National Park and it deserves the respect it was intended to be bestowed upon as such. Groups and Duos are another genre of Musicians who can take it to a whole different level. When I first heard the Travelling Willbury's and then I was able to pick out Roy Orbison who passed shortly after. The Highwaymen is another group who when together I feel were more powerful than alone. Simon and Garfunkle, the Beatles, and Crosby, Stills Nash and Young were so great and then poof. Tony Bennett does a lot of duos with some really great singers and do they ever bring it on. Every time I leave my apartment. I have to stop and think if I have everything. I will get 5 min. down the road and I have a brain spasm and I either forgot my phone or a handkerchief. If I am going to the gym which I do 3X a week its my pass which I keep in my vehicle and when I come out sometimes forget to put it back into the console. If I stop off at the store on the way back I always buy something I didn't intend and sometimes forget what I need. I'm retired and when I was working I had to be up at 445 am and be out the door by 510 in order to catch the train. I had everything laid out the night before. I don't have to do that any more because I don't care. I need my handkerchief and my keys but I have a spare key in my wallet and can sniffle my way thru my walk. I don't like forgetting but I am not going to let it make me crazy. I've heard it, seen it and am part of it. Don't let it bother you. Just enjoy your moments to the fullest and the rest will get done some time or another. And when you find yourself getting annoyed then just smile and say "eh" This is also more prominent to those who live alone. Its one of the trade offs of not having someone to nag a you about this or that. Its great to know that no one is watching, or cares what you are wearing, or are going to eat.

I prefer quality over quantity. Lots of intenationals on my FB which I like to share what is really going on and vice versa. 20 is a hard number to reach but like we used to say in the Army. Its where you find out that you can count them on one hand. Sad but almost really true.

When you try and point out some ot fhe obvious problems with "Organized Religion" they get very defensive and think you are trying to convert them. They have totally given themselves to whatever they are told is "the truth" and cannot defend or understand half of what they believe. I had one who kept telling me that I was trying to convert her and to save my Preaching for someone else. Ask them about the Dead Sea Scrolls or the Nagamadi Scrolls and they think you were watching a Sci Fi Movie. The best is to tell them that Mary Magdelene was not a Prostitute but one of the Apostles who could totally comprehend what the preachings of Jesus were all about and how fond Jesus was of her. There is a Gospel of Mary Magdelene and a Gospel of Thomas which are very contradictory to the four evangelists who were illiterate fisherman who could neither read or write. Can't do it with Politics either.

Long drives to no where and back on another road. Long hikes in the wilderness. Make this part of a routine when the weather is nice and when it is not do what has to be done, but always use good weather to get out and about.

Again the correct term is 'Haredi Judaism' I am surprized that the Washinton Post lets out these mispelled classification concerning religious definitions and rites. The Jewish people are very conscious of their religion and how it is explained or defined. In my travels to Israel, I found their English almost without accent or correct pronounciation. Clarity was also well spoken.
