Can you fall in love with someone who you've never met in person?
Rudy1962 comments on Feb 20, 2018:
Nope. I thought I had fallen in love with a beautiful Scandinavian woman with blue eyes. It turns out it was Brutus, who owns a small engine repair business that he runs out of his parent's home, has three inches of hair on his back and loves to cat fish.

@ScienceBiker having an opinion is all well and good. Frankly though offering an unsolicited( this was not a what do guys like thread)opinion on someone's personal choices and presenting it as a "well I want-- in a woman" automatically pisses me off. Frankly women hear what men want and are expected to care WAAAAY too often. @jayneonacobb on *that* I entirely agree with you. It's modern day slavery dressed up as justice
I still see more liberal gun grabbers making poor arguments for gun control.
JLFowler comments on Feb 17, 2018:
You are for gun control buddy. You are against selling guns to drug cartels I assume. May I assume you are anti guns for folks who are severely retarded as well? I could be wrong. You may be completely unreasonable. The point is that gun control in some measure is just reality and to deny that ...

Idk. Yoga, massage, cannabis and psilocybin have testable, proven results. I'd like to see some data on it but until I do I won't dismiss it out of hand. There's a lot of "hippie nonsense" that's turning out to be quite effective.

@Douglas Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've never had to make that choice myself nor have I lost a baby. However, whenever people talk about a woman who gives up custody of her child, *even to the biological father,* the trash talking begins. I agree that the American mindset needs to change ...
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 17, 2018:
It's not just religious people. My kids father called me every name in the book when I told him I wanted to look into adoption for our son before he was born. Here we are 8 years later, I'm a single Mom with little to no support from Dad and barely scraping by as a parent. And I'm still vilified for literally everything on a regular basis. Should have done what I thought was best in the first place. Conceding to his demands only made things worse.

I always think, there's a reason Catholic men want single mothers to give birth and not have abortions, and want them to have a difficult journey and the children end up in care. Catholic men and vulnerable children get along...

In my experience it's expectations that mess things up. My ex thought I should do all the housework even though I was working full time and carrying fulltime credits in college....just because I was the female and he liked traditional gender roles.

El-loco comments on Feb 16, 2018:
I don't mean child abuse, human trafficking, forced anything. Nothing non-consensual. Should a woman have the right to make a living (and often a good living) anyway she wants - and provide a service which has been recognised since antiquity?
