Born and raised in Portland, I've lived in other states, but always come back. I love to travel and learn about other cultures. I've studied several languages and speak French just well enough for conversation and to read articles and poems.

I'm industrious with many interests. Great cook, artistic though not an artist.

Friends are important to me and a regular part of my activities. I love hiking with friends, attending protests, and planning political events.

Movies, theater, and the ballet are my favorite forms of art. I'm not big on opera or symphony.

Sunshine, great cheese, and animals make me especially happy.
