I just read an article about Tennessee's soon-to-be return to capital punishment.
PBuck0145 comments on Jul 31, 2018:
Capital punishment should never be imposed. It should be an option for the prisoner, who should have the right to demand death in lieu of serving the remainder of his/her sentence.

New Atheism, Worse Than You Think
p-nullifidian comments on Jul 31, 2018:
I completely disagree with the article, which is outdated and off the mark, in my opinion. The label ‘Islamophobia’ is a fabrication, designed to conflate racial or ethnic hatred with a legitimate scorn, if not loathing, of the concepts, doctrines, practices and dogmas of the Islamic faith. With...

@A2Jennifer Fair enough. I should have been more explicit about the cause of my confusion. Statistically, since I am straight, about 95% of those with home I agree whould also be straight. Instead, more than half of the free speech supporting "intellectual dark web" contributors whom I follow are homosexual. The original post speculated that their prevalence in the group of free speech supporters might be the result of their struggle against sexual orientation discrimination, That struggle might tend to embolden their free-speech support proactivity. I have received zero feedback regarding that premise.

It saddens me that regressive leftist group identity viewpoints are so prevalent on this supposedly open-minded rational site. Palestine's goals are openly stated and formally indoctrinated into their children at school. Israel, the only functioning democracy in the middle East, is to be destroyed and the Jews exterminated. This is in accordance to the Qur'an and Hadith. I do not subscribe to Prager's religious perspectives, but PragerU's evaluation of the Palestine/Israel conflict is worth consideration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IG1C7gorfQA&t=262s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76NytvQAIs0

A good start would be vigorous enforcement of the right to freedom of expression. It should not be necessary to "walk on eggshells" when discussing that particular ideology. Objective evaluation of Islam needs to be acceptable, and not labeled as "racist" of "Islamophobic".

@legna The Qur'an, the Sira and the Hadith are the sources. There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger. Following the teachings of Muhammad and the "perfect" example of Muhammad's life inevitably results in the behavior which I described. I do not fear Muslims as people, who are enslaved and oppressed by their indoctrinated political ideology. I do fear the prospect that Islam might eventually be successful, and all of humanity will be enslaved and oppressed. I regard the political ideology of Islam to be an infectious philosophical virus. No sane deity would create such an abomination.
