I was raised by atheists and, even worse, a Pragmatist. I was taught from a young age that all truth came from the scientific method. I wrapped my head around fluid truth at a fairly young age. Charles Sanders Pierce "truth is the consensus of those who investigate in the long run". Belief is not consistent with that sort of epistemology.

I'm suspicious of the term "dark matter". I think labeling an unknown as if it is something known is dangerous and may stunt investigation.
