I am a widow and live in Western North Carolina. It's very hard to meet new people when you do not think like they do. I do the best I can, but it gets a little lonely. I play a lot of music as you can see in my photos. I try to keep busy. I started a new project with a couple of friends and we have lots of fun.
I was born in North Carolina and moved to Connecticut when I was 2 weeks old. I was there until 1969. At that time, my stepfather allowed us to move back to North Carolina so that we could be closer to family. What a culture shock! With the exception of a short stay in Colonial Williamsburg Virginia with my late husband, I have lived here ever since.
My husband passed away in 2013. It has taken me a while to get used to being single. I think I have that figured out now. I am pretty happy, but as I like to say, "my life is like apple pie, its good . . . but with ice cream, it's better". . . .I am looking for the ice cream of my life. I am out there. Join me.
