Deep, deep inside myself ... there is just more of myself ... a sort of junkyard of idea, reflections, speculations

There are moments when I really see it as a junk yard or a yard full of junk ... A Chinese junk would be nice sail away from all the trash.

I have a few serious obsessions:

  • a taste for twisted stories but without blood and guts.
  • some creatures: mole rats, naked or furry, olms, axolotls and their larger cousins: giant salamanders, camels and dromedaries, bonobo, pigs
  • Mexico
  • Bohemia

Juhttp://[www.aish.com/jw/s/Judaism-and-Tattoos.html?s=hp2daism] and Tatoos - interesting article
PontifexMarximus comments on Oct 20, 2018:
I think the most interesting part of the article is that it is cited in this forum. **“A person who violated the Torah, whether it was by** ***eating non-kosher, working on Shabbos, stealing in business, or getting a tattoo*** **, can still be buried in a Jewish cemetery. If transgressors were excluded from Jewish cemeteries, our cemeteries would be largely empty."** What would probably empty the cemeteries entirely but is not mentioned: adultery.

PontifexMarximus comments on Oct 21, 2018:
I think that it is rather normal that you don't give it much thought. Most people are like you even those who belong to a religion hence the frequent rituals prescribed by some religions. If the believer had the inner voice telling them several times per minute or per hour that they belong to a certain religion, there wouldn't exist the necessity to remind the **believers** with calls by the muezzin from the minaret or will the noise of bells from the belfry immitating the voice of gods. I remember when my elder daughter asked me for permission to become a christian and her mother backing her request by saying "I believe in god too (god 2.0)" ... I could only reply "holy shit" ... At that time I had been in a relationship with my daughter's mother for 25 years and the question of any alligeance to any deity had never come up.

PontifexMarximus comments on Oct 22, 2018:
I always knew it, but my mother never believed me. I knew all along that it was the scientist in me that refused to make the bed. So we are faced with two alternatives: sleep with dead dust mites or sleep with live dust mites. I wonder whether there exists an expression for either condition. It probably falls short of beastiality ** https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bestiality_by_country_or_territory ** and perhaps it doesn't quite qualitfy for necrophilia either. As a byproduct of mine response I found out an interesting fact。 According to the omniscient wikipedia (English version) bestiality is legal in Cuba and legal for civilians at the American controlled infamous **Guantamo Bay concentration camp**. However, since the 16th of September 2016 for armed service members. The maximum penalty is rather harsh: of dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 5 years. So it is cheaper to fuck some prisoners rather than the guard dogs.

Why is the label African Americans used to describe black Americans
PontifexMarximus comments on Oct 28, 2018:
"The category of 'native' was large, but there was no general definition of the term. In a Nyasaland court case of 1929, the judge opined that, "A native means a native of Africa who is not of European or Asiatic race or origin; all others are non-natives. A person's race or origin does not depend on where he or she is born. Race depends on the blood in one's veins ..." Unlike Europeans of British origin, Nyasaland natives did not hold British citizenship under British nationality law, but had the lesser status of British protected person. The term 'native' was used in all colonial censuses up to and including 1945, but by the 1950s the term was regarded as offensive." The thinking is still, in many mind the same. I recently had a discussion about the term "ABC ...Australian Born Chinese ... nobody has ever called my daughters: ABC as in Australian Born Caucasian.

Trump is only slightly held back by some eminence grise whose interests are at stake if the Don pushes things too far. There is a common pattern to megalomania. The learned professor just thought it was a good opportunity to say something. People can compare whatever they like. Whether ultimately such comparisons are useful is a different matter. One might include Emanuel Macron in this circus of megalomaniac leaders.
Would you personally date/consider someone with different political beliefs than you?
PontifexMarximus comments on Jan 9, 2019:
My birthday suite didn't come with a religious airbag. Later I learned that my condition was known as atheism. When the time came to discover a new dimension of sexuality, that is sex with a woman rather than just masturbation, the question of political and religious compatibility was not really a top priority. As I was finally getting a hands-on experience of what I had laboriously learned in biology no warning lights were flashing in my mind. Bingo I was seduced by a human of a different sex, a different nationality, a different religion, a different political opinion and from a different culinary culture. As I started wading through this thicket of differences I became more aware of these obstacles. It was not the difference of political opinions that had the preeminent impact but rather the difference in culinary tastes. I did embrace cheese but obstinately refused garlic. Later in life I had a rather extraordinary encounter of a rather intimate nature with a born again Christian who was also a stoner. Unless one considers the scent of incence being the aroma of religion, opinions, and religion is just one of them, have no smell, just like money ***pecunia non olet***. Dope, on the other hand, has a rather pungeant smell. It didn't bother me that this ***Rosetta Stone*** had a bible in every corner of every room. The fact that behind every one of these holy books was a stach of her holy shit, was far more concerning. Back to the original question regarding diverging poltical opinions ... some will be compensated, at least form a male perspective, by physical features, Trust me on that!!!

Pastasciutta … I was 5 and it was my very first exposure to authentic Italian pasta in Italy. I can remember the size of my serve, but it was ample. The drama was it was just an entre follow by more than 10 other dishes. The spaghetti certainly etched their taste into my brain … The place was called Cecina Mare in Tuscany. It was just an amazing feast. There was photographic evidence that I had been to Italy before, but it was this pastasciutta experience that formed my impressions of Italy.

None of the three gun carriers were in any way restricted. The customs officer was unarmed. I am sure, they wouldn't have been handcuffed if they had belonged to an different ethnic group.
