This is why I am upfront and honest with every person I see or date. (Not saying you were not!) I have had several get carried away. Life is about managing expectations. They need to be set, managed and adjusted from time to time. If the person seems like a good guy but is coming on too strong... Let them know. But I know the exact feeling of having someone be all into you and you are not into them the same way. It definitely is an uncomfortable position to be in.

First of all... I feel your pain! I just went through this with my mom. I built my current house with a bedroom for her when it was time. I didn't want my mom going into a home... So I built a spot for her here. She didn't want to give up the freedom to come and go in her own house for the longest time. But she degenerated enough to where should could no longer handle stairs so she finally moved in... This was last August. She went in and out of the hospital and rehab 5 times until she passed away this past February. My mom tried to control everything too. She knew we would all inherit a lot of money but worried about my middle sister blowing through all of hers. My middle sister has a brain injury she suffered 20 years ago. So she set up trusts. My only worry was that I could not fix her and in some cases struggled to even keep her comfortable. It seemed like she would only be home for a few weeks and then she'd be back in the hospital. I felt SO BAD watching her struggle and not being able to help! I mean... I could help... But not to the level I would have liked as it just wasn't possible. In the middle of all these visits she suffered a stroke that took half her eyesight and scrambled her ability to process information. Some days she seemed normal and others not so much. So... She could no longer knit, work the crossword, read her books, etc. She was frustrated beyond description. I shared those feeling with her as best I could and tried to think of things she could still do. Mixed success there. Then... On her last trip to the hospital... She changed. She became much more calm and, in retrospect, seemed to be planning her end. We had many conversations with her directing everything just as level-headed as you could imagine. Two days later she passed away at 3:15am in the arms of a nurse while giving her a sponge bath. My advice to you.... Bear with it and be there for your mom! Say everything there is to say (good or bad) and ask every question you can think of. Ask the doctors for something to help with the nervousness. Morphine or Valium, most likely. But you also need to take care of your dad... So you will be pulling a tougher double duty! I would also advise you to post out here as a stress reliever. I wish I knew of this place last year! Good luck! My thoughts are with you!

I was SO happy to see so many new faces this election, especially women. It was refreshing to hear their stories of what prompted them to run. Look up the book "Spite, Malice and Revenge - The Art of Getting Even" by George Hayduke. There are many ways to get even! One of my favorites without actually doing anything. Get a 10 pound bag of sugar and take 8 pounds out for your own use. Leave the bag weighted down with the remaining two pounds next to his car near the gas cap. He will think someone put sugar in his tank and will most likely tow it to the garage. There are SO many ways to get even!

I would do this.... Have a conversation with him in private. I would tell him that you are uncomfortable with his advances and don't really want to be the "bad guy" but will go to HR if he continues. If he tries to play it off as "one friend complimenting the other" then tell him you are uncomfortable with his compliments as you see it as more than that. SHUT HIM DOWN! I'd also unfriend him (or whatever you call it) on FB. All he is going to do with that is fantasize anyway...

I have only traveled outside of the US once and that was a humanitarian trip to Mexico back in the ...

I drive all day FOR work. I work from home for a national lender and spend most days on the road locally... Within 20 minutes to 2 hours away. Mostly back roads VA driving. I put about 27k miles per year on my truck. I love it!

Practice! Also... When speaking to a larger crowd... Pick out 4-5 people in different spots and speak to them. That way it looks like you are speaking to everyone! Once you relax a little... Start looking at others. Another good thing is to do "checkbacks"... Asking your audience if they understand or have questions. It gives you a break sometimes and you ensure they are understanding your content.

I tried Farmers Only... Just because there was, at the time, less scammers. Plus I live rurally. She was an extremely attractive woman who owned a horse farm about an hour south of me. She was a widower with her husband dying of cancer 5 years before. Her family put her up to online dating to get her back out into the mix. We talked on the phone and decided we wanted to meet. I dressed up, drove south to pick her up and we went to one of the swankiest restaurants in Richmond, VA. There she proceeded to tell me that her last relationship ended after almost 2 years because she kept catching the guy watching porn and masturbating. Then it comes out that she catches the guy in her guest house doing this. I ask why he was staying in the guest house and she responded, "I don't have sex with anyone unless I am married!" So he stayed in the guest house.... FOR TWO YEARS! Well... That pretty much killed it for me. We switched subjects to her other apparent favorite subject... How Donald Trump was going to be the savior of the nation. THAT was the stake through the heart of the date there. I dropped her off that night and, as politely as I could, told her that I appreciated her time but I didn't think we were a match for a variety of reasons. She was taken a little aback and I could tell she was upset. She called me the next day and called me every name in the book saying that I just wanted to get her into bed. I told her that her chasteness was certainly part of it but it was also her support of Trump and several other things which I described. She hung up on me. She's obviously used to getting her way. A month later she calls me asking to borrow $5,000 to help refinance her farm. Uh... NO!

These congressmen voted to repeal the ACA. These are the people we elected to replace them.

My mom, before her passing this past February, for YEARS she knitted a wool cap every day. She would save them up and donate them to the local homeless veterans group. When she died I found a large trash bag full of them... Hundreds of them. I have it worked out with one of my business owner friends in old town Fredericksburg, VA to sell them instead... With all sales going toward the homeless veterans or the local food bank.
