I'm not a calorie counter so much as a content, fullness/hunger watcher. I won't overstuff myself. I like to let myself feel "hungry" every day. I read that hunger pangs...actually feeling hungry....is good for you. It releases enzymes that control your metabolism and speed up fat digestion. Today's diet plan....two eggs, no yolks, microwaved, with a little cheese and ketchup...one slice of toast, juice. Lunch; greek Yogurt with blueberries, banana, and a half cup of oatmeal-pecan-cranberry mix. Dinner....not sure yet; probably fish and veggies, stir fried. I might open that package of Tofu.

Are we to assume you're "grown up" whereas those who want things differently from you are not? I hate Trump. Having said that; He accidentally made a good point. We need to help Venezuela...but we don't need to "demand a deal" before we do it. Most oil owners want to deal with folk who are willing to buy their product. If we go in and "liberate" Venezuela (which we -through Saudi and the mid-east deals helped bankrupt) we won't be doing it with a clear conscience. I can't control what happens....and it's pretty clear Trump is pushing an invasion....but I hope it doesn't happen. I hope Trump is arrested before we get involved. I'm also hoping Bob Mueller gets busy and lays his cards on the table soon.

I started out (turned 18 in '63) being a Republican. Ike did great things for our nation. Unfortunately, I thought his VP then...Nixon...would follow in his footsteps. That was the last time I voted Republican. Ideally the Republicans are cool. Minimal government over-reach. Careful, conservative research on any new proposals. ...but those ideals got messed up along the way. Avoiding government control meant getting filthy rich and ignoring rules for investment, and not caring about the environment to get rich. Brown the garlic and onion. Pressure cook the potatoes...or to avoid the starch - pass on them. Brown the Kielbasa first and drain off the fat. Frozen veggies are good, fresh veggies are great. Spice it up, add some pepper and oregano. Try beans, or lentils instead of potatoes; far more protein.

If you search "World education level, graph, data" you find that knowledge is growing...and it isn't just a straight line rise....it's parabolic (curving upwards)....so the pace of education is picking up. ...and I firmly believe that it's happening just in time. -us Demographers know that the key to controlling population is education. A demographic transition starts when a portion of the world develops an ability to grow; whether it's a change in the overall health, an infusion of technology, a new way to get water, etc...a DT starts when any region starts an explosive, parabolic-curve growth in population. When does that growth level off? Yep...you guessed it...when education level within that area rises. Smarter people have fewer kids. -and with that rise in education comes the death of myths, and the growth of morality for the sake of survival...not because some myth "told them to behave". So I'm optimistic. I see us reaching ZPG soon....and s serious decline in Religion as well.

Here's a twist; I consider myself a classic/neo Conservative, with liberal trends towards immigrants and family planning. I like the old (1950-60's) push for demanding research before proceding with laws....but I have no respect for the new conservatives who fear debate, and consider liberals "haters". Neither group; true Patriotic Conservatives nor Liberals - are haters. Both want prosperity for America. We need to debate, not argue. Let's discuss...not name-call (like the meme, above). Want to discuss/debate? Bring it. Want to play one-upmanship? No thanks.

I love this and think it's kind of true. This goes for guys too I suppose :)

Why is this more true (and more rare) for men? I'm a 24 hour lover...blame it on my affectionate mom and dad, I suppose....but I sure do like to be affectionate - to get and give. But having been married 4 times...and in and out of too many relationships...I'm still looking for that equally affectionate miss/ms/woman/....no...It's too late to say...girl...but lady?

We have to stop dismissing or joking about "pot dangers". The illegality of it makes a lot of users paranoid. It makes your pulse speed up and changes your heartbeat pattern....I was high, decades ago... when I went for an EKG and the doc recommended surgery.....until I confessed. If folks die from stroke or heart attack "precipitated" by a good buzz - do you honestly think they'd put "cannabis overdose" or even "cannabis use" on the death certificate? ...but this does make an argument for legalization. If pot "overdose" was a medical issue; then victims wouldn't be afraid to seek help. Perhaps there'd be less "overdose" if it were regulated...if you knew it wasn't contaminated...if you knew "the dose"...which legalization would encourage. ...and yes...there are "victims"...

We used to have respect for smokers. They were glorified in film. I think we're almost entirely aware that to want to use a nicotine addicting product is self-defeating - dare I say suicidal? Smoking - like most drug addictions - dropped in popularity from simple education and awareness. Should we have a heroin-opiates-addict group? Same question...isn't it?
